Mike Rowe has landed himself the ultimate Dirty Job, trying to get Mr. 47% elected.

Taking the microphone in Ohio, Mike dusted off a favorite quote from his show, and, nodding towards Romney said....

"Everything here is messy. Like most things, you can keep yourself pretty clean if you try, but the people who are really good at it and really love it are usually up to their arms in it."
Apparently cognizant of the state of Mitt's campaign Rowe went on to regale the gathering at American Spring Wire in Bedford Heights with this summary of it's state...
“You’ll be pleased to know, Ohio, that you do in fact have a roadkill cleanup division and they are excellent at what they do,” Mr. Rowe said. “The roadkill itself here in Ohio is second to none, both in volume and variety.”

Fox Spews reporter Carl Cameron was on hand but was to busy fabricating President Obama quotes and thinking about how to frame the take down of bin laden as a bad thing to make comment.

Jack Nicklaus, about whom I have nothing bad to say other that I think the Great Ali owns his ass as the best individual athlete in the past century did not apologize for his success.

And the great country and western nottie Jo Dee Messina was on hand to inspire and turn off the lights for Rmoney's Ohio campaign with this fabulous number...

Bye bye love, I'll catch you later
Got a left foot down on my accelerator
And the rearview mirror torn off
'Cause I ain't never lookin' back and that's a fact
Though how the frigg she manages to goofy foot her accelerator I'll never know.

And so the 2012 Stenchapalooza rolls downhill, next stop Florida!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
