calling for donations, walkers and virtual walkers for my team. We'd LOVE to raise an ungodly amount of money for this and we feel like we have enough WONDERFUL people in our lives to make this a possibility!
If you'd simply like to donate to the cause - visit the team's page at http://www.asaustin.org/... and click on the "Support Wise Team" hyperlink.
If you would like to join the team (which you can ALSO do virtually from any state or even nation!) so that you can raise your own donations and/or join me for a lovely Sunday afternoon walk - please follow the same link and above the owl picture click on the "Register" button and add yourself to "Wise Team"
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!! This is such a worthy cause, and I appreciate all of your support even if you can't make it!

and now, because it's halloween, everyone should track down a spooky movie. It's early in the month, so I won't go too scary - we'll start with a recommendation for a spooky kids movie that everyone should see once: The Peanut Butter Solution.
Waitaminute, Monzano....that's no Halloween picture! Well, it has a haunted house, ghosts, and a crazed villain, so I'm saying it qualifies. Plus, it has a Celine Dion song, and I'm afraid of her.
The Peanut Butter Solution:
...A kids' movie (Degrassi Junior High cast...if you don't know what that is, check the googles) where a boy goes into a haunted house and has his hair scared off. Then the haunted house ghosts visit him and tell him the secret to a hair-regrowth formula. The new hair is magical, and draws the attention of an evil painter. Hilarity ensues.
Also, a Celine Dion song. Scary! You've been warned.
I'm including the youtube trailer because the IMBD page shows the German cover.

I'll be back tomorrow with another, slightly scarier movie suggestion all the way until halloween. I will also be shilling for my AIDS Walk team each time.
There are other AIDS Walk teams involving Kossacks. It doesn't matter to me which you donate to, or which you walk for...just support something. It's a great cause and should be a lovely walk. Here's anotherdemocrat's diary about their team:

THANKS FOR CHECKING IT OUT!!
