Governor Romney, you have long been a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, and in fact your family roots trace back to the church's founders and its earliest days. Your 2010 and 2011 tax returns attest to $4.13 million in donations to your religion -- and, tithes being an important part of the Mormon creed, it's fair to say, extrapolating backward from the 2010 and 2011 numbers, that over the course of your career you've given tens of millions of dollars to your church. That being the case, I think it's fair to ask your stance on the the Mormon church's stance on a variety of topics, particularly those that have undergone some degree of transformation during your lifetime. Do you agree or disagree with the church on the following subjects...
Do you believe in polygamy?
Do you believe that Jesus visited the Americas?
Do you believe that there are three separate heavens?
Do you believe that God created life on multiple worlds and that there are human beings on other planets?
The Mormon church changed the “blood oath” penalties associated with the Endowment Ceremony only in 1990. Did you agree with the changes?
How do you differ from Brigham Young on the doctrine of “blood atonement”?
What is the church’s stance on homosexuality and do you agree with it?
