Supervisor of Elections office finds more suspect registration forms submitted by
Strategic Allied Consulting
Supervisor of Elections Ann Bodenstein said her office started receiving suspicious forms two Mondays ago from Okaloosa County.
Social Security, addresses, and other information was missing or incorrect.
An investigation for voter registration fraud is underway after a staff member of the Santa Rosa County elections office discovered a pattern of erroneous information on newly filled-out registration forms.
Officials began to notice a suspicious trend in about 100 of the papers collected. They then called the state attorney’s office to report the suspicion.
Currently, the number of fraudulent registrations is "around 400."
“Most of them (forms) were registered, but there was information missing on just about all of them,” said Bodenstein.

Bodenstein pulled the files of the names on the forms, which most had already registered, but the signatures were different.
It has been reported that Strategic Allied Consulting, hired by the Republican Party of Florida, is the organization responsible for hiring the form collectors who turned in the questionable registration forms.
Bodenstein said one forged form was that of a woman who died six months ago; for this reason she believes the employees used an older database.
"What I think would have happened is it would have caused lots of questioning and answering when the people’s whose names were used went to the polls,” Bodenstein said.
