There was a diary on here a while back where a mom told of her experience with her daughter's childhood friend who was Mormon. As she was inquiring into the differences in their religions, she asked the little girl if lying was OK for a Mormon, the girl's response: "Yes, just not to another Mormon."
I thought that was a bit of a revelation but, recounted from personal memory, I wondered how much gravity to assign the diary. Turns out that it definitely deserved more investigation. A simple Google search of "Lying for the Lord" results in over 68 millions results.
As it turns out, Mormonism is apparently the only religion that actively condones lying and it's instilled in them from the very beginning of life.
Turns out that what we DON'T know CAN hurt us! Everyone needs to do some real research before voting for Mittens.
From the Mormon Wiki:
One Mormon blogger writes, “When I was a missionary, the church’s official Missionary Guide instructed missionaries to avoid providing direct answers or solutions to investigators’ questions or concerns.” On his mission, he “fell back on rhetorical tricks or even outright denials.”
Very concise discussion here:

"Mitt Romney has served a Mormon mission. And so the question must be asked. Mitt Romney, where do you stand? What comes first? Church or country? And are you lying if we ask you which comes first and you say “The Country?” Are you “Lying for the Lord” there? What a conundrum!"
This needs the widest possible dissemination and I've already sent it to all my GOP fear-mongers. A simple way to solve Romney's conundrum is a simple "No Thank You."
