If this is an indicator or preview of the Romney economic policy in action, we are all in deep, deep trouble.
(I deleted the previous updates because they were getting longer than the diary itself.)
OK. Let's set the record straight, for real this time, about the flag situation.
First off, I have to apologize. I was wrong about the situation with the Chinese flag. This is what I heard from various other sources but it's my fault for going on impulse instead of digging for the facts first. I am humiliated and sorry.
The rest of the story is 100% accurate and can be backed up by many sources including the ones in the diary.
So... my bad.
Here's the actual situation from the Sensata employees themselves from their webiste:
There seems to be some confusion about whether or not our Sensata plant took down our American flag and replaced it with the Chinese flag. Here is the truth. Sensata took down our American flag on the day they flew in our Chinese replacements that we were forced to train. They put our American flag back up after the Chinese workers left. They never flew the Chinese flag. The rest of the diary has been updated so we can hopefully move on and get this story out.
I'm going to make this a quick one. There's plenty of links for you to read further on this and you should anyway. This story is very damning to Mitt Romney and even worse, for the employees of Sensata Tech and every working class American if Romney wins.
Romney's Bain Capital did what they do best. They bought out a company called Sensata Tech and are in the process of outsourcing it to China.
They even brought in Chinese workers for the current employees to train. Yea, they were forced to train their own replacements.
Employees of Sensata in Freeport, IL say that Bain Capital forced the company to take down their American flag during the time they trained their Chinese replacement workers.
This is our economy if Romney wins.
And remember during the debate when Romney said he never heard of a tax break for outsourcing?
As that lying sack of shit spoke those words he was getting a tax break for sending Sensata to China.
Please don't take my word for it, read for yourself below. This story needs to get out for the sake of this election and for the workers camping out in protest of their jobs being outsourced.
Oh.. and the company is set to to close on November 5th, one day before the election.
