As this story is gaining steam, we need to further spread it by making sure everyone knows exactly what happened. This story exploded over the weekend, so come monday there will be much more people tuning in and we don't want them lost or confused. Below is the full explanation of the Sensata situation that could potentially destroy Mitt Romney's chances at the Presidency.

Please spread this story far and wide. Tweet, Facebook, Blog, Email... please help us get this story out. The American people deserve to know the economic plans of a man who could be their next President.

We know all too well we can't wait on the media. Sometimes if we want something done we have to do it ourselves.

Sensata Technologies is a Bain Capital owned company in Freeport, IL.

Bain Capital is the Romney created firm that takes over businesses and outsources them to China for huge profit.

Bain Capital owns Sensata, so of course, Bain is shipping Sensata to China on November 5th, one day before the Presidential election. Thats what Bain does.

Not only will 170 Sensata employees lose their jobs, but they were forced by Bain to train their Chinese replacement workers who will be taking their jobs.

Sensata employees claim that while they were forced to train their replacement employees, Bain also forced them to take down their American flag while doing so.

I mean, of course... you don't want the American flag staring you in the face while you're sending American jobs to China. You don't want to feel guilty or anything. Thats capitalism, right?

The employees of Sensata, in an effort to save their jobs, have been camping out in protest in front of Sensata Tech in Freeport, IL.

So that is the situation, but how is Mitt Romney involved in this? We know that he created Bain Capital and got filthy rich doing this exact same thing, but didn't Mitt leave Bain Capital 10 years ago? How is he involved?

This is where facts are very important.

Yes. Romney did leave Bain Capital 10 years ago. He left in the sense that he does not work for Bain anymore and does not make decisions.

Romney's investments however are still with Bain Capital and to this day he still makes money from their actions, including when they send companies overseas. Romney is still making money from this while he is running for President.

Mitt Romney owns $8 Million in Bain Capital funds that holds 51% of Sensata shares. So Romney still owns half of Sensata and will profit from the company being sent to China.

Remember during the 1st Presidential debate when Romney said that he has never heard of a tax break for sending jobs overseas and acted like Obama was a moron for even bringing it up?

Well guess what... Shocker: He lied!

As those words were coming out of Romney's lying mouth he was getting a tax break for Sensata being sent overseas.

The Sensata workers have begged Romney to help them. Having so much power within Bain and owning 51% of it's shares, I'm sure Romney could pull some strings and make some calls and stop Sensata from being outsourced. Instead he has ignored their pleas and the Romney Campaign has even called the police on them when they tried to get a letter to Romney.

Sensata Technologies is set to close it's doors on November 5th, One day before the Presidential election where Mitt Romney will ask for your vote to control our Entire economy.

So yea... a man currently running for President of the United States will profit from a company being shipped overseas and ignores the pleas of the workers as he promises you that he'll create jobs here and bring back jobs from China.

This story is very damning to Romney and could destroy his chance of becoming President if this story gets big enough.

If Mitt Romney is not only accepting this behavior but profiting from it right now, not 10 years ago but right now, what makes anyone think he would change if elected President?

This story, while about Romney is also bigger than him. Getting this story out is not just about exposing Romney for who he truly is. It is more about helping the 170 workers of Sensata who by no fault of their own will lose their jobs so that Romney and friends can make a little more money.

How can Mitt Romney stand on a stage and tell people he'll be tough on China when the day before the election he will make money from sending jobs to China?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

in helping and encouraging spreading the word on this! I've been out there and I feel so passionate about getting this story out too. I'll tell you what else, the encouragement from the French workers yesterday to the workers of Sensata was so incredibly moving. I'll be doing a part two in photos soon if you're interested. These folks know how hard strangers are working to get the story out and they are grateful.

The National Labor Committee (NLC) has released a 30-page report documenting the illegal and harsh sweatshop conditions at the Jabil Circuit factory in Guangzhou, China. The report, entitled 'U.S.-Owned High Tech Jabil Factory in China Runs Like Minimum Security Prison Producing for Whirlpool, GE, HP', describes conditions at the Jabil factory where over 6,000 workers - many of them illegal temporary workers - reportedly produce hi-tech products for among others Cannon, Cisco, HP, IBM, Intel, Lucent, Nokia, Philips, Samsung, Siemens and Xerox - among whom a number of Board members of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition. The new report includes worker interviews, photographs and company documents smuggled out of the factory.
    Fellow Kossack Bri pointed out that;
In March 1999, shortly after Romney left Bain to take over the troubled Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Brookside Capital Investors Inc., a Bain-related entity wholly owned by Romney, filed a report with the Securities and Exchange Commission that listed dozens of companies in which Brookside held a stake the previous quarter. The roster included investments in Singapore-based Flextronics International ($13 million) and Florida-headquartered Jabil Circuit Inc. ($41 million), two companies that were leaders in the fast-growing field of outsourcing electronics manufacturing and offshoring production to low-wage countries.

Or is he just going to be "Presidential" again?

I get that he isn't Joe Biden, but he has to fight for this. For US. He will be fine if he doesn't win, it is the rest of us who are screwed.

    •  I feel he should tread lightly on it. (0+ / 0-)

but most certainly he needs to bring it up, and make certain people understand the implications. For the debates, maybe a single mention of Sensata, maybe not. I think the buzzword on that stage should be #Bain.

I'm going to wing this, so bear with me:

      Governor Romney founded Bain capital.

That was, by most accounts, a successful enterprise for him. He has amassed great personal wealth through that company and because of it. No one besmirches the Governor what he created and helped to build.

And while it's true that direct control over the company has since changed hands, it can be safely said that Bain Capital still does what Governor Romney, as its founder, intended for it to do. Bain Capital hasn't changed.

Bain Capital makes money for the people in charge of Bain Capital. That is its purpose. That is what Mitt Romney created it to do. But at whose expense? We know that Bain Capital outsources jobs to China.

Those jobs aren't coming back folks.

I think one of the parts that needed stressed in this story are that he "donated" $405,000 in Sensata shares to his own charity.

Ryan mentioned in the debate that Romney is such a charitable man, that he donates all this money, blah blah. But Romney is donating to his church and to charities he runs.

He's a disgustingly greedy liar and fraud. I hope President Obama brings this up in the debate tomorrow. The media is saying they will discuss it on their shows this weekend. I find that appalling. It seems like they want to make sure Romney gets his ducks in a row. This goes right to the heart of his bullshit-- he claims to be a job creator and a charitable person. The Sensata story blows both of those claims straight out of the water.
