Mark Sanford is not just an amazing idiot: he is, unsurprisingly, a racist as well.
So much so, he is now, I learn, a FOX "news" commentator. So, so perfect.
Anyway, his reference to "spear throwing" is just another one of the countless conservative/wingnut racist dog whistles (or as somebody noted the other day "racist oog-ah! horn)
Former Gov. Mark Sanford — now a Fox News contributor — told Fox News host Shannon Bream that President Barack Obama would have to be much more aggressive during the next debate because Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was seen as dominating the first encounter.
“Obama’s going to come out in this case much more forcefully, and he’s going to throw a lot of spears,” Sanford opined.
The article goes on to detail why, exactly, this is a racist term: i won't provide that clarification, hoping, instead, the readership already knows why this is unacceptable.
I don't have the time or interest in cataloging the tsunami of racist language, words, and inferences that we have seen in the past few months, but is has to represent a significant uptick over the past 4 years of being subjected to racial assaults on the president and his family..
I have more-or-less taken to chuckling whenever I see these abject racists ranting on with their racist bullshit them having the audacity to complain that somebody (like me) is calling them on it. Perhaps they really are so dull-witted and under-funded intellectually (stupid) they can't see it.
Every last racist dog whistle and oogah horn is a call to vote for Rmoney and a reinforcement to the vast underlying racism that unites this group of intellectual slackers and ner-do-wells.
So aside from the racism, the lying, the cheating, the nooses, the regurgitated, refried neocon agenda, the republicans have little to offer this country.
Mark Sanford is as good a posterboy as any they have.
