You may remember Mets102's diary last week about CNN anchor Carol Costello getting fed up with American Family Association spokesbigot Bryan Fischer and kicking him off the air. It happened during a segment about the AFA's opposition to Mix It Up At Lunch Day, a national campaign to get students to break outside their social boundaries and meet other kids. This, of course, is code for "make Christians sit with gay kids" or something like that, in the AFA's twisted mind. Fischer launched into his normal hate speech about gay people being health risks, and that's when Costello had had enough. She promptly ended the interview, thus giving Fischer one more thing to ride the waaambulance about.
Here's the video of the CNN segment:
Fischer surprised nobody by holding this on-air incident up as an example of good Christians being silenced by the evil gays. He took to his radio show and bellowed about CNN being an illustration of the "gay gestapo" in action.
Now, do not forget, for Big Gay--for the gay gestapo--if you tell the truth about homosexuality, that is considered an insult. You have offended, you have committed a crime of blasphemy against the god of gayness, and you must be punished. And that's my point. The whole point of the SPLC--it's not about pushing diversity, it's pushing perversity under the guise of tolerance. If we as Big Gay, as the gay gestapo, as the storm troopers of the homosexual movement, if we determine that you have insulted someone's sexual orientation--now, for instance, it is simply a true fact that homosexual behavior is immoral, it is unnatural, and it is unhealthy. That is a simple, straightforward statement of fact. But for the gay gestapo, they're gonna call that an insult.
Now, Carol Costello--she showed you what this looks like. I mean, Carol Costello, when I was on with her on CNN, she showed you what the gay gestapo looks like in action, because she cut my water off just as soon as I started to talk about the health risks of homosexual behavior. But Carol Costello, the gay gestapo, the Nazis and the gay gestapo, they do not want to hear the truth about homosexual behavior, because what they're about is promoting this lifestyle--not promoting diversity, but, as I said, promoting perversity.
Here's the video:
Carol Costello wasted no time responding on-air on CNN to being called the "gay gestapo." And, spoiler alert, she embraces the title with open arms. She had this to say after playing part of the above video clip:
Well, Mr. Fischer, if that's the definition of the gay gestapo, then I'm a proud, card-carrying member.
Watch:
I love it! Good on Costello. Now, time for CNN to just stop inviting bigots like Fischer on the air.
