Following todays HuffPo's fresh stem regarding a new coalition website, led me to get some pretty good whiffs of what is blowing in the wind these days.
Really! There is an issue where Snoop Dogg, David Koch, John Stewart, Sarah Palin, Kofi Annan, and Michael Steele all agree? (Sounds like the mother-of-all-SuperPacs to me!) Really? Does it involve Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows?
ahem...
Perhaps, actually.

I decided I was getting a pretty good hit off this story and started to do some additional research. Just this morning, in the Daily Kos Elections Morning Digest, a poll was mentioned of Washington State Voters breaking for full legalization by a 56%-36% margin!
Although outright legalization is a sticky issue (as is aptly pointed out in a recent Washington State Kossack's diary) Medical Legalization appears to have considerably higher support then full legalization. An ABC News/Washington Post poll from way back in 2010 found a soaring 81% support for Medical Cannabis!
There are currently 6 States with pending Medical Marijuana Legislation as of Oct 15th 2012. Medical Marijuana Legislation was signed into law in Connecticut on June 1, 2012 by Governor Daniel P. Malloy. And in addition to Washington, Oregon's Measure 80 and Colorado's Amendment 64 all point to a fertile crop of voter opportunities this November.
Again full out legalization is a spiky topic with pro-legalization advocates arguing on both sides of most of the current legislation depending on how it has been cultivated. This is similar to California's recent prop 19 and how it got seriously burned down due to being poorly phrased. All in all, Marijuana Legalization choices for the 2012 Electorate seems to be chronically popping up everywhere... almost like a weed.
