What are you all seeing fromthe other side? Not Limbaugh or Freerepublic, but their more " mainstream" outlets. Far from concern trolling, I feel it is healthy to observe their mindset.
Here is what Im seeing recently, and frankly a lot of it is wishful thinking on their part--but I guess during the homestretch you have to buck up your troops: ( sources: Hotair, Jennifer Rubin, Ross Douthat, National Review, Jay Cost)
1. Swing state demographics: Obama is on thin ice in swing states due to demographics there, that he does not do well with whites and will fall because of that.
2. National Polls: Romneys leading national polls, has all momentum there and battle states willfollow.
3. It is NOT all about Ohio: NH + WI + IA looking very good for Romney.
4. FL, NC and VA are in the bag and will surely go red.
5. Obama camp has loser vibes: This is a new one. Argument is in closing stretch Romney is focused, presidential, coherent, and positive. In contrast the Obama camp is tring new messages this late, being negative and " protesting too loudly" about being tied or ahead. Supposedly, how the campaigns are behaving says it all.
6. Libya: Some are still adamant that there is a fatal smoking gun there.
7. D samples in polls: Yes, party ID is still a source of disdain for them. They dismissed the recent Ohiotime poll for a D+ 9 sample. Any good poll for Obama is still being criticized on party ID.
8. Early voting distorting polls: Argument here is you cant double count. All polls should not include early voters.
9. Independents: Romney is kicking ass with independents.
10. 2008: GOP turnout being under rated and 2008 turnout will never happenagain.
11. Social issues show Dems are desparate: By appealingto abortion, immigration, poor, etc, Democrats show a lack of confidence ina broad appeal on " serious, kitchen table issues" and are playing to their fringe.
What else?
