We have been seeing lots of polls, and all over the place, but this article stands out because of its source - Morning Joe Scarborough. He is referring to Time's Ohio poll that has Romney trailing by 5 points, and PPP's Nevada poll where President Obama maintains a 'stubborn advantage in this key swing state'.
As he says:
TIME's poll should rattle the nerves of Romney supporters because the results run contrary to Team Romney's ongoing claim that their internal polls show a dead heat in the Buckeye State. Maybe that's the case among voters planning to go to the polls on election day but it looks like early voters are tilting dramatically in the president's direction. If the TIME poll is accurate, it means Mitt Romney will have to grab most of Ohio's remaining undecided voters if he wants to win this critical battleground state.
Today Romney cancelled plans in every other swing state and hunkered down in Ohio, and that likely explains why.
As to Nevada:
While Mitt Romney has made up ground in the three Southern swing states of Florida, North Carolina and Virginia, voters in Ohio, Nevada and Wisconsin seem do not seem inclined to be easily swept into Romney's camp.
He adds that the President's advisors have said we haven't seen the full impact of the final debate in the polls yet, either.
Coupled with the media's resistance to jumping on the Ro-mentum myth bandwagon, these are reassuring words for Democrats especially considering they are coming from the other side.
It all comes down to Ohio. Become an Ohio GOTV captain or join Ohio for Obama.
