Over the course of this election cycle, the airwaves have been flooded with talking points from both parties. Democrats and Republicans alike have been dropping nuanced one-liners and buzz-word-heavy rhetoric that is designed to immediately elicit a response from potential voters. From "tax cuts for the rich" to "death panels", both parties are guilty of this. That being said, the overwhelming majority of misleading or even false talking points originate on The Right. With that, I have come up with 5 questions to which I believe Mitt Romney owes an answer to the American people. They expose his talking points for what they are - words that sound good but don't actually carry any meaning and expose him for the fraud that he is.
.) If government doesn't create jobs but the private sector does, and the free market should be left alone to decide the prices of commodities, then why are you leaving the private sector to run for office claiming that you will create jobs, and also why are you leveling blame upon Obama for soaring gas prices?
.) You claim that Obama's "Job-Killing Regulations" are a reason why he should not be re-elected. Please name 3 job-killing regulations.
.) Explain how "supply-side economics" is any different from feudalism, and also why we still have high unemployment rates when job creators have been getting tax cuts to invest in job creation for over 30 years now.
.) If your tax plan is to be revenue neutral in that you will cut taxes yet make up for the lost revenue by closing loopholes and eliminating unspecified deductions, why bother to cut taxes at all?
.) You plan to repeal and replace Obamacare. What would you replace it with, and why would you based on the fact that Obamacare was created using Romneycare as a model?
