This Wednesday was a big day for me and thousands new immigrants. We went to oath ceremony in LA convention center and become a US citizen. After the ceremony, the county worker told me I need to go to county registrar to vote because the official registration deadline has passed on Monday.
So I did this morning in a nice Southern California weather and a rarely nice traffic. It took me 20 minutes driving to the registrar office and it totally worth it.
I believe Californians will re-elect President Obama and Senator Feinstein. But it is more than that. This vote also wants to stop certain special interests groups from attacking our democracy and consumer rights. Also this vote is for a better financial future for California after two previous Governors failed to achieve (one got recalled, another did nothing but bluff).
So I voted today and feel better for our future. Yes on 30 No on 32.
*Please pardon my English. I came to US when I was 24. I've tried my best! :)
