I was checking out a few of my other favorite sites before logging onto Dkos this morning - because, let's face it, once I log onto Dkos, I tend to stay for hours - and I ran across a fascinating article in Mother Jones about the newest project from unPAC. Now, I had never heard of unPAC so I googled them. They had me at "Money out. People in." which is their motto. If you are unfamiliar with them, check them out at https://www.unpac.org/
Anyway, they have produced a silent political ad to be run in Ohio which is aimed at the Supreme Court decision. You know the one. The one that left a stain on the reputation of the Supreme Court that has caused infinitely more damage to our country than the stain left on the little blue dress. The one that allowed the formation of Super Pacs which have turned this election into the first, but certainly not the last if nothing changes, 2 billion dollar election in our history. Two billion dollars.
That mind boggling statistic is what has prompted unPAC to create this commercial as noted in Mother Jones:
The ad, a protest against the $2 billion presidential campaign, is meant to be a "message to politicians, special interest groups and the media: we won't stand by idly while our democracy is bought."
It is a powerful ad that, in my opinion, also sends a powerful message to the Supreme Court.

Then....
...let's get back to the business of re-electing Barack Obama for four more years!
