Saw Gov. Christie speaking nicer about the President than any Republican in the last 4 years. First I thought--Wow, must be a much worse disaster than I thought!
Then I thought, well, he's running in 4, doesn't want to risk waiting 8.
Then I thought--only for a split second, I swear-- he's OK.
Then I realized his options. Worst thing for Christie is for Romney to win. Not only would he have to wait and wait to run, with his state budget meanwhile ballooning because of RomneyCuts; having to raise taxes more and more because of Romney's federal cuts, including FEMA cuts.
What happens if another disaster hits and Romney has so crippled FEMA that Christie can't be effective?
Best thing for Christie is to be able to do a good job with disasters the whole time he is governor, not just this week. The only way to do that is with President Obama in charge.
Wonder who Christie actually votes for!
