Oh Fox News, what has become of you?

If I wasn't so worried, I would be mad.  How could you have failed to alert the faithful to the numerous dangers that have threatened them this week?

Yes, Benghazi must be covered -- people simply keep missing how much the Benghazi events make Obama into a prematurely reincarnation of Jimmy Carter...but WHAT ABOUT SANDY??!?!

You have failed to cover the fact that Obama's ability to control the weather.  It is clear that Sandy was created to hit the Red seaboard southern states, including Florida but because he apparently forgot to lower the ocean (he has kept none of his promises!) so instead the storm veered off course and hit godless Blue states.

It's true that your viewers don't really care about anything happening in New York or New Jersey, but you are missing the point of the storm altogether --FEMA ("displaced persons"--ha!) Camps!

Don't you get it Fox?  This was a plot at last minute indoctrination attempt by the Obama administration.  They are on the ground brainwashing right now...but jokes on them...they were probably going to win the pinkos in New York and New Jersey anyway.  But they got to Chris Christie! and Michael Bloomberg!

Come on Fox!  Are you waiting for the FEMA thugs to come for you?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

in a sea of blue NY, Staten Island, the borough devastated by Sandy and with the most deaths, is a red pockmark of rabid Republicans.  I have  honest to goodness tea-bagger neighbors on each side of my home.  Everywhere you go, hospitals, restaurants, etc.  they have Faux News on, so yeah they are failing their viewers.

On the bright side, the Staten Island Advanced gave a very strong endorsement to Sen. Gillibrand today.

There are other areas as well, but I always think of Staten Island as deep red.  I wondered what the limited few who had cable service made of this massive attempt to ignore the storm, they are in large part why I started to try to figure out how Fox would spin it after  the election after Fox stopped complaining about why there were all liberal performers in the telethon.

Besides being a warning on climate change and a demonstration for the need for "big government" in some things, it also is the perfect foil for most if not all the crazy conspiracy theories.  If the wingnuts after this still believe that Obama is out to take their guns, round up citizens for FEMA camps, suspend the constitution and void the electoral process by declaring martial law then they really have shown their hand.

Because this would have been Obama's moment.  Mittmentum to them is real, Romney is going to win, so last week was Obama's only shot to unleash his final power grab.  That he hasn't done it with the perfect opportunity right here should separate the crazies from just the Obama haters.  We shall see...

I have a friend who has many good points one of his negatives is that he is currently republican. He seems to believe in all the same things I do but has the belief that the republicans can get us there better.

A few nights ago OPB broadcast a documentary about a facility in Alaska that is experimenting with controlling the weather.

He is now convinced they created Hurricane Sandy so Obama would get reelected.

This is a seemingly normal sane person. Luckily he told me this all on the phone so he couldn't see the stunned look on my face. As paranoid goes I am starting to buy into the whole kool aid drinking thing as being very real. I have no other explanation for how a very sane individual could come up with this belief that really seems to scream for a straight jacket and a padded cell.

High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program is a military semisecret program of ionospheric research.
To the wingnuts, HAARP is an omniscient weather control program. They seriously believe that HAARP can generate and steer hurricanes. I've also heard them say that HAARP is responsible for melting the Arctic ice.
I've heard claims tha HAARP was used to generate the hurricane that interrupted the Tampa RNC. And commenters on blogs have alleged that Obama used HAARP to create hurricane Sandy to help him win the election.
I'm wondering how long this democracy thing can go on with so many people who are delusional.

we cannot surpass what their need for conspiratorial narratives creates.  The need to find anything to tell them what they want to be true is true, no matter how improbable...or downright insane.

and watching the 'reporters' trying to catch up with their piss-poor excuses is a hoot..I keep wondering if any of those talking heads have a soul and will just QUIT for being used and shown to be rabid idiots...but money talks, so doubt it.
