Just a short diary... and something that was printed in the Denver Post on Sunday.
We are of course a swing state.
But here's something I found very interesting.
We have on our ballot this year, Amendment 64, which would make it legal to possess up to an ounce of marijuana for people over the age of 21 and allow for marijuana to be sold in special stores and regulated like alcohol.
So that's a major thing.
I would never have thought that this would have had legs. ( Remember, we've got a huge Focus on the Family population here ).
So far... in a poll ( but not necessarily of likely voters ), marijuana legalization leads 50 to 44 ( with 6% undecided ).
WOW!
Yet, the presidential campaign poll was Obama 47% Romney 45%.
That really means ( unless I'm thinking about this wrong ), that Colorado has a ton of socially moderate Republicans.
Just interesting....
