I am so tired of pundits trying to pre-legitimize the Presidential election.

Howard Fineman tonight on Chris Matthews said that if Obama wins it will because of Obama's organization.

Before that he said that if Romney loses it will because people don't really know who Romney truly is.

What's telling is that Howard Fineman never gave reasons why Obama would lose or Romney would win.

I can't believe that Chris Matthews would allow such an unfair comparison to go uncontested from Howard Fineman or any pundit.

The night before the Presidential election Fineman is suggesting such crap!  People are voting for Obama but Obama's organization skills and people aren't voting for Romney because they don't understand who Romney truly is.

I'm sorry, but this is such crap.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

lately not feeling him at all. His columns are less complimentary of the President.

The important thing is that when the President wins everyone will know he won because he is the better man. I think everyone already knows he is the better man. Even the embittered self loathing tea partiers know it. That's why they resent him so.

And tonight no one will care what anybody says. The voters know better and they are about to say so.

And the President will get some much needed rest and prepare for his second term.

  •  Fineman is getting more and more aggravating (4+ / 0-)

    Circle-jerk Beltway insider log-rolling.

People know who fucking Mitt Romney is.  An entitled, effete, elitist dick.

And the more and more they know him, the more they do not like him.

The only reason this election is within 20 points is the corporatist MSM's insistence on a horse-racing narrative and propping up Mitt to make the finish close.

They have no special powers that make them superhuman.

Daily Kos, on the other hand, is another matter.

    It, collectively, is  superhuman.

  •  Losing is losing. Excuses are for whiners. (0+ / 0-)

A society is judged by how well it cares for those in the dawn of life, the children. By how well it cares for those in the twilight of life, the elderly. And, by how well it cares for those on the edge of life; the poor, the sick, and the disabled.

  •  And who created Obama's organization, I wonder (0+ / 0-)

I mean, in some sense, we all did, but obviously the guy at the top played a big role.

So when he says "Obama didn't win, his organization did" it makes as much sense as saying "Aaron Rodgers didn't win the Super Bowl, the Packers did."  In fact, though, Obama plays a bigger role than Rodgers since he built the organization.

If Mitt's so great, why hasn't he built something comparable?  He's been running for POTUS the exact same amount of time, he also started in 2007.

Finally, if people knew who Romney really was we'd see major spikes in support for the Libertarian and Constitution candidates.  I've lost track of the number of crimes he's clearly committed, from assault, to impersonating an officer, to animal cruelty,  perjury, fraud, conversion,  tax evasion...he's the worst.

McCain had an explosive temper, but this is ridiculous.
