While some dumb Republicans are still trying to claim that they have a chance to push their values forward, Limbaugh faces the facts.
Via Media Matters, Limbaugh admits:
I went to bed thinking last night that we are outnumbered. I went to bed last night thinking [about] all this discussion we'd had about this election being THE election that will tell us whether or not we've lost the country. I went to bed last night thinking we've lost the country. I don't know how else you look at this. The first wave of exit polls came in at 5 o'clock. I looked at it. I read the first two pages and I said to myself, "this is utter B.S." and I forwarded the exit poll data that I had to three or four people and my message to each of them: "this is UTTER BS and if it isn't then we've lost the country"
This is so sad. It's pathetic, man. AND I LOVE IT. But frankly it's too good for you to read it on a page. Go to the link
here. Pause every few seconds to take in the despondency. Waft it in. And taste his tears. The bitterness adds tart to the flavor. It's DELICIOUS.
Besides how much fun it is to hear him crying, this is also big news for another reason. This might be the end of Republican obstructionism. If Limbaugh gives the go ahead, I think it'll happen. Remember when Michael Steele, Newt Gingrich and others had to beg Limbaugh for forgiveness after trying to stand up to Republican intransigence? Well, I think Limbaugh has given them the go ahead to go towards the middle more. Hope that happens.
Can someone let me know how to embed the video? Thanks.
