Here's the official Florida State Website: Florida Election Watch. It shows Obama with a lead of 47,477 votes over Romney, or in percentage terms, 49.86% for Obama and 49.29% for Romney. That lead exceeds the mandatory recount level of .5%. I haven't heard Romney is going to seek a non-mandatory recount in Florida (I mean what would be the point?) So why isn't Florida showing up in the Obama electoral column? Seriously, what's the reason for not declaring Obama has won Florida? Is Florida's Secretary of State simply refusing to declare the vote count official? Does anyone think a recount would change the numbers significantly? What's the hold-up? States with less than 100% of counties reporting have already been placed in Obama's column. Why not Florida?
