It is time for us to hold corporate donors to the right wing GOP accountable. If a corporation or corporate CEO of a restaurant chain, fast food chain, pizza chain, grocery store, gas service station, bank, household appliance or auto manufacturer or consumer products manufacturer (shampoo, deodorant, soap, razor blades, soup, packaged food, snack chips, salsa, toothpaste, contact lens solution, cold pills/ sinus/ cough syrup, clothes, shoes, sneakers, toys, TVs - anything we all tend to buy) donated money to the right wing GOP candidates and party that is contemptuous of we in the 99% - it is time to BUY PRODUCTS FROM OTHER COMPANIES, not theirs!
I heard for example that the CEO of restaurant chain Outback Steak House donated to the GOP. I won't be returning to Outback Steakhouse for my "blooming onion". I understand that one or more pizza chain CEOs is a generous donor to right wing GOP candidates and causes.
Someone with more time and talent than I needs to review the publicly available records and produce a list of product brand names associated with corporation and corporate CEO donations (corporation / corporate CEO donor names, dollar amounts, GOP candidate, committee or SuperPac recipient name). In fairness, if they also contributed to Obama, the DNC or our Democratic Party associated committees or SuperPACs, the list should note that also.
We not only had on November 6 the superiority of our numbers of votes, we hold within our power the ability to affect changes in their future decisions to donate (or not) if we tens of millions of consumers boycott their products, restaurants, services and businesses.
This is one way we can each individually NOW counteract the awful Citizens United / corporations are people reality of our politics. We can do this. Forward!!
