You might recall this. Dimly, if at all. Your Bloguero took a blog hiatus back on October 8, 2012. Why? As your Bloguero stated in his recent TTFN message:

Well, I'm going to go off and have an adventure or two, and do some different things for a while, and so I probably won't be seen around here for a month or so. Maybe longer. I'm fine. There's nothing wrong. Everything is good. It's just that it's time for a new adventure. Or two. In the material world.
Yes, your Bloguero did break his silence a few times.

He did stray from his destination, the territory ahead. But only for what he thought were things too important or just too odd to omit from writing about. Items, essays he just had to write. But in general, he's maintained his silence. And he's pursued his adventures. But, also, he’ll admit it. He’s had lapses. A whole lot of them. And he’s left comments. Even though he said he wouldn't No matter. Not now.

Your Bloguero is also aware that long silences are often the sure sign that the blog (or its Bloguero) has passed on to other things, that s/he is finished. Nevertheless, the rumors (are there any yet?) of the Bloguero’s demise are entirely exaggerated. His blog, The Dream Antilles continues.

With a big change. Because of your Bloguero's adventures, which include the changes he is making in his everyday working life in the law world, he can no longer write about politics. Other topics, yes. Politics, no. Just not permissible. And he can’t comment about politics either. That too is verboten. The complete blackout begins at the end of December 31, 2012, but your Bloguero is stopping now. Has to. Because he doesn’t want any more lapses. That would not be good. Not at all.

Your Bloguero will doubtless continue here. But only as a reader. Solely as a lurker. Other places like this one, particularly where your Bloguero posted only pieces about politics, nope. Can't post. Done. He will have to say a GBCW like this one for each of them. It's a part of his current adventure. A small price to pay. No politics is the rule.
And so well beloved reader, a deep bow to you. And applause for both your support and your criticism. And now farewell. Your Bloguero will now shuffle off again to the territory ahead.

By the way. Yes, your Bloguero could write only about other things and stay here. He realizes that. It's like saying you won't drink if you hang out in a saloon every day. A bad idea.

Kos, if I left the light on, please delete my fucking account.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
