Papa John's CEO John Schnatter says he will likely be reducing workers' hours as a result of President Obama's reelection and the promise of Obamacare remaining in tact:
Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter said he plans on passing the costs of health care reform to his business onto his workers. Schnatter said he will likely reduce workers’ hours, as a result of President Obama's reelection, the Naples News reports.
Nevermind the inaccuracy of his (and others') claims that Obamacare neccesitates the firing of or reduction of workers' hours. Increased costs due to Obamacare will not exist for many businesses, and can be
offset easily in numerous ways for large corporations.
Let's forget this for a moment and consider that these threats of reducing workers' hours is coming from a man who is currently running a national promotion to give away 2 million free pizzas:
Free pizzas? No problem!
Providing health care to workers? It's just too large a burden to bear.
