My wife just brought this to my attention, and I have no idea how it hasn't gotten more press yet.

"It's not rape, simply free sex." That's the title of the facebook group above, and it's enough to make me need a shower. It had a picture (since removed, but visible in the blog post below) of a toddler wearing a shirt that read "rape my shitter."

This is best expressed by the following blog post from elephantjournal:

What really burns me up is the pictures taken down of breast cancer survivors, women struggling with lost pregnancies, and other controversial-but-women-empowering pictures--yet Facebook notified my wife that while those pictures were offensive, this pro-rape page that all but begs anyone reading to rape my 2 year-old daughter is OK by their standards.

The only way to get facebook to open their damn eyes and take this down is if a lot of people take notice. Please look this horrifying page up and protest to facebook about it. There are numerous other disgusting pages on facebook with similar themes ("it's not rape if you yell surprise," "it's not rape if you enjoy it"), and for some reason facebook tolerates it all. In light of this election and the dismissal of the legitimate-rape and gift-from-god rape candidates, BS like this shouldn't be tolerated. Thanks!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
