So Mitt Romney, during a big conference to his (no doubt steaming-mad) campaign donors, said that Obama won because the President promised "gifts" to minorities (y'know, blacks, women, hispanics... which, technically, taken together make us the majority in this country but whatever) and that health care and public education are "stuff" on the same level as getting a free "X-Box."
Meanwhile, tax breaks for people like him and Anne (who don't have real jobs yet still see 20 million magically appear in their bank accounts each year) are just the hard-earned advantages of working by the sweat of your brow.
All I can say is: Thank you Mitt.
No, seriously... thank you.
Thank you for allowing the country to see what a big bullet we dodged. Thank you for continually reminding Americans how much the Republicans regard them as scum... and that no matter how much pretty rhetoric the GOP tries to launch in the next 4 years in an effort to capture the "Hispanic demographic"... it's not going to work.
Face it folks, it's going to be a bewildering blizzard of flat-out "kinder, gentler" words from Republicans. "Why, we've ALWAYS approved of the auto bail-out!" "We've NEVER tried to cut Medicare!" "Schools have been at the top of our agenda since day 1." "Women's health care never ceases to keep us up at night. We are determined to protect it."
But Mitt Romney, unable to quiet his bitter, hateful tongue, is giving our cause strength. We're gonna keep winning people. The Democrats will keep on strong because the GOP won't stop reining in the hate when it comes to their speech. There will always be a Mitt Romney or a Rick Perry or a Rick Scott tripping over their tongues and saying something uncensored. To paraphrase James Carville: "Mitt Romney isn't very bright and he talks a lot. These are qualities I like in a Republican."
Romney is doing his part to keep us Democrats in office for years to come, God bless his soul
