Here is my proposal -

Can the DailyKOS Kommunity take a week without posting, mentioning or highlighting anything about the right wing?

All diaries, posts, comments exclusively on Democratic policies, positions or activies.

Let's discuss -

How Obama can use the election results in Colorado and Washington to start ending the drug war by directing DoJ to stop prosecuting/persecuting marijuana citing that the people have spoken.  Maybe even start talking about a reasoned and reasonable new direction in overall drug policy - legalization, regulation, education and treatment.

The successes of public education - how many students are enrolled and benefitting.  How privatization focuses on the small minority of bad situations and will undermine the whole system by diverting funding to profits.  How teachers should be better paid and respected - as Malcolm X said "if you have economically poor kids being taught by economically poor teachers, then you can't be surprised with poor results" (or something like that).

The need for national infrastructure investments - doing big things, building big things.  Roads, bridges, public hospitals, public schools, public libraries, public parks, public water systems, public post offices, public transit.   We need to build that.  Employing thousands, improving communities, generating personal income to fuel economic demand.

Ending wars now,  in the next 3 months rather than 3 years.  Like JFK, Obama should say "We will have a goal to be out of war zones and returned safely home in 3 months. We do this thing, not because it is easy but because it is hard!" (more or less)

... fill in the blank with your topics.... -  JUST NO RIGHT WING DRIVEL

As John Lennon sang "... imagine there is no right wing, it's easy if you try.."  (more or less)

How about it?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
