Yesterday the White House tweeted a photo (taken back in April) in honor of the the 57th anniversary of Rosa Parks' refusal to move to the back of the bus. The picture was of President Obama seated on that bus, looking out that window. Highly appropriate and honoring her for her part in enabling the election of the United States' first black President.

"Today is the 57th Anniversary of the day Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat," the White House tweeted.
As President Obama said:
“I just sat in there for a moment and pondered the courage and tenacity that is part of our very recent history but is also part of that long line of folks who sometimes are nameless, oftentimes didn’t make the history books, but who constantly insisted on their dignity, their share of the American dream,” Obama told donors later that day.

All very normal and expected, right? Not so fast. Naturally, there are those who were offended by this display of supposed narcissism and vanity, calling the President an 'idiot'.

Just when you think President Obama’s impossibly large ego can’t grow further, he makes it happen," the staff at Twitchy said.
"President Obama loves to insert himself in other people’s biographies. He also loves to honor people, most recently Neil Armstrong and Vice President Biden, with pictures of himself. All. About. Him. His laser-like focus never wavers from his own image," Twitchy added.

"God Bless Rosa Parks! Too bad she would be embarrassed by the idiot in her seat," one person tweeted.

Really? Sigh, some people will find the negative in anything when it comes to this President.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
