Today, I checked out the magazine racks at Barnes and Noble.
I was curious to see what is available to the gun enthusiast. Actually, I expected to find that the store removed these magazines out of respect for the 20 children, who were slaughtered last week.
Nope. The gun magazines were there. Not one, two, or even a dozen. Almost TWENTY different magazines.
SWAT Magazine has an article called "Out of the Desert, Into the Streets":
"Do we really need another M4 Carbine on the market? I believe we do,
because competition makes America great."
On the cover of "Rifle Firepower": "Mil-spec grade" Troy 5.56 Carbine."
(Take that and stuff it in your craw, you stupid 6-year-old).
One of the articles is particularly chilling.
It is titled "Long Strong & Super Silent"
It reads:
"Rifle suppressors for police precision rifles have become increasingly popular. I began researching for my own unit, but at the time choices were slim. The most famous maker at the time would only sell to the military. A couple of others were willing, but insisted that titanium was too hard to work with, would not make a real difference and would cost twice as much."
"About to give up, an internet search netted Mike's Gun Sales and Service and his Jet Suppressors. Mike was willing to work with me, plus he happened to have one in stock. the suppressor arrived about a month later."
Exactly why would you want a silencer on your semi automatic? To take down 6 year olds from an adjacent building, and make a fast getaway?
To gun down shoppers from a safe distance?
Now, I really understand why we can't pass gun legislation.
We are dealing with cults of wanna-be bucks and an industry that caters to their power fantasies with constantly upgrading toys.
In the face of this, our government is as weak as a classroom of first graders.
Score another one for the Spartans.
