I admit it. I am really tired for a litany of reasons. I could get into the average ordinary pen ante reasons, and maybe I'll whine about those later and someone can call the wahhabulance for me.
I am tired of the fiscal cliff, curb, speed bump, whatever you want to call it. I'm tied of the sorry ass posturing and messaging and all the other garbage. I want it fixed by grown people who will work to get done what the voters elected them to do. If the republicans cannot and will not accept the objective realities of their position, fine over the cliff we go. I do not negotiate with petulant kids.
I am incredibly tired of the NRA. Just how many people are we going to kill with firearms before we actually do something about it? I believe in the 2nd amendment. I do not believe the NRA and really do not believe anything it considers "Gospel"
I am tired of the pie fights, creative fart painting, and other absurdities put forward as "good" ideas by republicans. I am tired of the Citizen's united ruling. I am tired of looking in the mirror and asking myself, I wonder just what kind of creative dumbassery they are going to come up with today. I am Really tired of Scott Walker.
I am really tired of back room deals. The thing that really wears me out?
Putting kids in caskets from gun violence and gun stupid.

I got nuthin else and am off to bed. Goodnight and good luck....

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

With the exception of matters directly relating to National Security (the real kind, not the imagined), then I think it's about time we were able to watch these proceedings.

I know that would mean they would posture for the cameras, but I don't see how that would be much different to the lies and deceit we have to put up with now.

I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
but I fear we will remain Democrats.

The reality of burying 20 little, innocent first graders has taken precedence.  As it should.

Turn your heart & your attention to the first real effort we have seen in forever to have real gun control in this country.

Get some rest.  Then join the rest of us in taking back public spaces from gun nuts & the disgraceful NRA.

The making & selling of guns is very, very lucrative for firearm companies.  It's 1 BILLION a year.  There were 30,000 gun related deaths this year.

Those 30,000 death cost the healthcare system & our economy tens of BILLIONS of dollars this year.

Up until now.....federal agencies have been handcuffed by laws limiting research because of lobbyists like those of the NRA & opponents of gun control laws.

    That shit is over.
