The last 25 days have been an incredible time for me, and without a doubt the most meaningful and wonderful Advent of my life. I wasn't sure, when I put my poetry out there for the first time, how it would be received. I still can't get over the overwhelmingly positive response, and from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to you all.
Thank you to everyone who read my poetry, and encouraged me to keep on posting.
Thank you to the wonderful friends who helped a longtime lurker, but new diarist, get oriented on Daily Kos.
Thank you to all on Daily Kos who recommended and tipped these poems.
Thank you to the Rescue Rangers who (to my amazement) Rescued several to be posted on Community Spotlight.
Thank you to all who commented. I have so much enjoyed the discussions we have had on these threads, and without a doubt this has been one of my favorite aspects of posting on Daily Kos.
Thank you to all who encouraged me to join Anglican Kossacks, Street Prophets and Indigo Kalliope, and to participate in these groups (and the editors and administrators of these groups!)
Thank you to the amazing people who run this site, and all of you who donate to this site to keep it running.

Some of you have wondered if I am going to post more poems (or other writing) after finishing this project. The answer is an unequivocal: YES! :) Obviously, I am pretty well all written out for the moment and will need to take a bit of a break. But I can't see myself stopping (on a long-term basis) anytime soon.
Writing to help make our world a better place, as I have found, is highly addictive.
Besides, you are far too wonderful a bunch of people to stay away from for too long. :)
Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to you all, as the case may be. Wishing you a wonderful and festive time with those you love.
Looking forward to many more hours of shared poetry, discussion, and friendship with you all!
(Over the break, I will be posting links to the complete Advent Canticle for anyone who missed an entry or for later ease of re-reading. :))
