Back in August, I went to a quilt show in Manchester, NH. For inspiration, I'd like to share photographs of some of the interesting quilts I saw....
DK Quilt Guild: A place for quilters to gather, share ideas, projects, and to make the world a better place, one quilt at a time. Join us and share your thoughts, projects, questions, and tips. Quilters here are at many different levels of skill. Beginners and non-quilters are welcome, too!
Since the show was in NH, it wasn't surprising to have a section with the theme of a walk in the woods.
And an additional very northern New England scene:
Another section of the show was devoted to quilts with patterns inspired by stone tile floors.
I loved this one ~ the detail was amazing..... not normally parts of the color spectrum I am drawn to, but this works!
Some very modern takes ~ I'm finding myself drawn to patterns like these more and more:
These have a very limited (and fairly non-dramatic) palette, but they work:
Hope these got your hands itching with ideas ;-)
