A young Golden-Crowned kinglet who fluttered around me in search of something to eat.
It has been in the twenties here with freezing fog, some light snow and today freezing rain..
Join me over the squiggle for some more photos.
The Golden-Crowned Kinglet in a tree. (Thank you Scott!)
Hanging upside down.
In search of food on the ground.
While the kinglet above fluttered about, this little guy was on a tree next to us. Is it a Nuthatch? Update: Per Scott in the comments, this is a Brown Creeper.
A Fox Sparrow.
Another Fox Sparrow who would sing while her back was turned towards me.
The Western Spotted Towhee. These photos were shot from inside. The Towhee stays in the brush and is hard to see as it matches the fallen leaves. I have not been very successful at photographing them until this morning...through the window.
Freezing fog.

Thank you to all who helped to identify the the birds. Amazing how so many look a like and sometimes the only difference appears to be their size. :D
