It's been a wild set of weeks in Missouri. A few weeks ago, the House Republicans forwarded a measure that proposed that Gun Store clerks who followed the federal law would be committing a felony.

This act was then followed by two democrats from St. Louis proposing that all extended round clips must be turned into the state as their possession would be a crime.
Imagine if you will proposing such legislation in a state with a divided base - of course, the outrage was serious. Republicans have struck back on the crazy train. By proposing house members who propose gun control legislation have committed a felony.

Last week, Missouri Democrats introduced a bill that would ban semi-automatic rifles and give law-abiding gun owners 90 days to turn in their firearms to law enforcement or become felons. This week, a GOP state representative has turned the tables to make a point.
Rep. Mike Leara (R-St. Louis) introduced legislation Monday that would make “any member of the general assembly who proposes legislation that further restricts an individual’s right to bear arms” guilty of a class D felony.
The entire bill, HB 633, can be read on the Missouri House of Representatives website.
While his opponents will surely argue that his position is extreme, Rep. Leara told TheBlaze on Tuesday that he is under no illusion that the bill will pass. He says he introduced the legislation to make a point after Democrats proposed an alarming gun confiscation bill last week.
“It’s outrageous,” Leara said. “I have received an overwhelming response of about 100 to 1 to stop this legislation.”
That's right. We're going to spend tons of time proposing legislation that has no hope of passing rather than deal with the real issue.
But the concept of threatening to lock up an elected person for putting forward a debate... wow.
I used this article, though because what's in it really tells you the level of information and debate that is happening here.

Conservatives have gotten too lax and in the habit of being the “nice guy” and playing by the rules too much lately. That “Maybe if we just educate them, they’ll see the folly of their ways and stop infringing on our rights.”. That doesn’t work. They know what they’re doing, they’re doing it on purpose. They have an endgame they’re fighting for. We need to get out of the habit of “defending our rights” and go on the offensive. Attack anyone who goes after our rights instead of trying to block everything.
Afterall, after the attack on Pearl Harbor we didn’t just build a big wall around Hawaii to keep the Empire of Japan from doing it again. We nuked em. Twice.
It’s time to “drop some nukes”, so to speak.

Thousands of marxist communists were killed in the Korean and Viet Nam wars. Thousands of facists/Nazis were killed WWII. These people were enemies of the people of the United States of America and American soldiers killed them dead.
These people are still enemies of this country and of the U.S. Constitution. Nothing has changed. They are just as dangerous and deadly today as they were back then. We didn’t vote these people out of office, impeach them or support them in any kind of way. We went in with our military and killed them. They got no court trial. Justice was served on the battlefield with guns and other weapons of war. So why are we putting up with all the crazy insane freaks today? I say we need to clean this country up and rid this country of all this crazy insane human filth.
This filthy marxist/communist/progressive/facist human trash i n this country tries to call responsible, accountable, law-abiding patriotic U.S. citizens loyal to the U.S. Constitution terrorists and racists….they try to make us look like the criminal they really are……..theyt try to use their Alinsky tactics to overthrow our republic government……..they try to take away our freedoms/liberties…….pride, greed and lust for power/control has turned these people into the unaccountable, irresponsible, mentally unstable freaks that they are. The sleeping giant has awakened and is watching who does what…identifying who’s who……and waiting…..it hasn’t forgotten.

Love it! Congress and the buttheadinchief swore to uphold the constitution, period. Actively tryihng to subvert ignore or destroy it is treason and should be treated as such. As such, legislating to limit the rights guaranteed the people by the constitution should be met with grave consequences. WHERE ARE THE REPUBLICANS !!!!!!!!!
Nothing says reasoned debate of the issues like online forums filled with threats to kill, slaughter, "nuke" and "grave consequences" for trying to debate the issues.
Because we know, that's how at least one side thinks we solve issues in America.
