Lake Worth, Fla. -- Two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds around 7 p.m. Wednesday. Both later died at a hospital. No other information was available.
New Orleans, La. -- An 18-year-old man was found shot to death in the middle of a street about 2:30 p.m. yesterday. He had been shot multiple times.
Chicago, Ill. -- A man was shot in the head and died on a sidewalk and another man was wounded in the stomach about 2:45 a.m. today. The pair might have been kicked out of a nearby nightclub. The wounded man was listed in critical condition.
Tulsa, Okla. -- An 18-year-old male student at a college was shot dead and three other male students were wounded when a 41-year-old man opened fire at a social gathering at an apartment about 9 p.m. yesterday. The shooter was arrested. The three wounded students were reported to have non life-threatening injuries.
Luzerne Township, Penn. -- A 2-year-old boy was in critical condition after he accidentally shot himself in the head about 8:50 p.m. yesterday. Police said the boy somehow gained access to a handgun in his mother's purse.
Spring Creek, Nev. -- A 4-year-old girl was shot in the leg by a family member. Police have not yet said if the shooting was accidental. The bullet struck the girl in the upper thigh and the injury did not appear to be life-threatening.
Bronx, N.Y. -- A 5-year-old boy was accidentally shot in the arm at an apartment about 10:40 a.m. today. Police are trying to determine if the boy or his 11-year-old brother was holding the gun when it discharged. The victim was listed in stable condition.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 16-year-old boy was shot four times in the lower body, leaving him critically wounded, around 5 p.m. yesterday. Police say he was on a street when someone walked up and shot him. The shooter then ran to a nearby vehicle and drove away.
Milwaukee, Wis. -- A 34-year-old man involved in an argument with his 31-year-old wife was injured about 7:15 a.m. today when she shot him. His injuries are believed to be non life-threatening. The woman was arrested.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 25-year-old man was shot in both legs about 8 p.m. yesterday by someone in a vehicle. The victims was listed in serious condition.
Chicago, Ill. -- About midnight last night, a 23-year-old man was shot in the knee while in the parking lot of a pharmacy.
New Orleans, La. -- A man shot multiple times while on a street around 10:35 p.m. yesterday was listed in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
Oakland, Calif. -- A 38-year-old man was shot to death after getting out of his parked car to go into a store about 9 p.m. yesterday.

Birmingham, Ala. -- A man in his late 20s was shot in the face while outside a discount store about 5:30 p.m. yesterday. Police say after the man stopped at the store with his wife and baby he got into an altercation with someone. The suspect fled. No word on the victim’s condition.
Seattle, Wash. -- A window in a woman’s vehicle was struck by gunfire as she drove into her apartment complex about 6:50 p.m. yesterday. Police believe they were stray bullets and that she was not a target. The woman was not injured.
Denver, Colo. -- Someone fired multiple shots at the county jail at about 9 p.m. Tuesday, although police said it appears they were aimed at no one in particular.
Royal Palm Beach, Fla. -- A 22-year-old woman accidentally shot herself Wednesday morning.
Delray Beach, Fla. -- Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late yesterday. No other information was available.

Garland, Tex. -- A 3-year-old boy died last night after he was accidentally shot in the head with a handgun while at home. Both parents and other small children were at home at the time of the shooting.
Miami, Fla. -- A 45-year-old man shot and killed himself after shooting and killing his 11-year-old son and wounding his 43-year-old wife and 14-year-old daughter about 9:30 p.m. yesterday. The wife and daughter were listed in critical condition.
Oklahoma City, Okla. -- Police found a 27-year-old man fatally shot outside his home about 5:45 p.m. yesterday. His 53-year-old father-in-law, a pastor at a local church, has been arrested. The shooting stems from a domestic altercation.
Las Vegas, Nev. -- In an incident that began at an intersection around 4:30 a.m. today, three people are dead and three people are injured after shots fired from an SUV into a sports car caused the sports car to crash into a taxi, causing the taxi to burst into flames. The driver of the sports car, the driver of the taxi, and a passenger in the taxi all died. A passenger in the sports car was among the injured. The SUV sped away.
Woodbridge, Va. -- A 55-year-old man, a retired Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agent, was shot and killed while walking his dog in an apparent robbery attempt about 9:40 p.m. yesterday. A 25-year-old man has been arrested.
Memphis, Tenn. -- A 20-year-old man was fatally shot about 4 p.m. yesterday. Police think the shooting was related to an altercation between the man and someone he knew.
Oklahoma City, Okla. -- A man in his mid-30s was found fatally shot in the front lawn of a home about 7:40 p.m. yesterday in what police are calling a drive-by shooting.
Oklahoma City, Okla. -- A man was fatally shot and another man wounded at an apartment about 7:50 p.m. yesterday. Both men were in their mid-20s. The wounded man has injuries considered non life-threatening.
Encinitas, Calif. -- A 22-year-old man shot two sheriff's deputies yesterday afternoon and was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his mother's home about 1:30 a.m. today after a several-hours-long standoff. The man was reportedly angry over a restraining order filed by his mother. One deputy is in stable condition with a leg wound, the other was treated and released.
South Tucson, Ariz. -- A 38-year-old man found shot in the chest about 6:50 p.m. yesterday was pronounced dead a short while later at a hospital.
Houston, Tex. -- The owner of a cell-phone store, a 62-year-old man, was shot and killed during a robbery by two males wearing masks about 4:40 p.m. Monday.
East Cleveland, Ohio -- A 24-year-old man was fatally shot outside his home about 11:20 p.m. yesterday.
Houston, Tex. -- A 27-year-old man was found fatally shot in the head at a residence about 11 p.m. on Monday. Witnesses heard arguing and a gunshot before seeing a car speed away.
Bartow County, Ga. -- About 2:40 a.m. today, police found a female clerk fatally shot at a resort. The man who shot her ran into some nearby woods and was later found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police said the incident was related to family violence.
New Orleans, La. -- A 21-year-old man was shot and killed and another person wounded around 3:45 p.m. yesterday when someone opened fire while he drove his car, causing it to crash. The car had at least 20 bullet holes. Both victims were shot multiple times. The wounded person was in stable condition.
Jennings, Mo. -- Police checking on a sounding burglar-alarm at a home about 3 a.m. today found an open door and a 27-year-old man lying on the floor fatally shot. It was not yet known if the man lived there.
Olney Springs, Colo. -- A family member found a 29-year-old woman fatally shot at a home about 2 a.m. Tuesday. An arrest warrant has been issued for her 32-year-old boyfriend.
St. Louis, Mo. -- Two police officers, ages 31 and 26, were shot and wounded after responding to a sounding burglar-alarm at a boarded house about 11 p.m. yesterday. A gunman confronted the officers at the scene and opened fire. The officers returned fire, shooting the gunman several times. One officer was released from the hospital late yesterday, the other is expected to be released today. The gunman was in critical condition.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 41-year-old man was shot three times at an apartment complex just before midnight Wednesday. He was listed in critical condition.
New Orleans, La. -- A male teenager was shot and wounded around 2:15 p.m. yesterday at a bus stop after an altercation between a group of teens in school uniforms led to gunfire. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was listed in critical condition.
Milwaukee, Wis. -- A 22-year-old man was shot during a quarrel of some sort on a street about 8 p.m. yesterday. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Clovis, N.M. -- A grandmother reported that shots were fired at her house and bullets came through the front door and dining room window about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday as she was inside with two other adults and two children. No one was hit.
Bronx, N.Y. -- A stray bullet struck a 51-year-old woman in the side of her stomach about 9:40 p.m. last Friday. She was expected to survive.

Valley Center, Calif. -- A man shot and killed his wife and then used the gun to kill himself about 9 p.m. yesterday.
Warminster Township, Penn. -- Police arriving at the scene of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex about 7:40 p.m. yesterday were met by gunfire from inside an apartment occupied by a 49-year-old man. Police returned fire and, during the exchange, a 90-year-old woman who lived in a downstairs unit was struck by a bullet and killed. It is not yet clear who shot the woman. The man surrendered about 2:30 a.m. today.
Prince George’s County, Md. -- A 15-year-old male high school student was found lying on the ground fatally shot about 4:20 p.m. Monday. Police suspect robbery as the motive for the killing.
Prince George’s County, Md. -- A man was fatally shot as he pumped gas into his vehicle about 1 a.m. today. The victim ran when he saw a gunman approaching, but he was chased down and shot by the suspect. The shooter was later arrested. It is not yet known if the two men knew each other.
Baltimore, Md. -- Police responding to a shooting at a home about 6 p.m. yesterday found a 33-year-old woman fatally shot in the torso and a man dead from a gunshot wound to the head. Police believe the man killed the woman before shooting himself. A small child was found unharmed at the home.
Camden, N.J. -- A 23-year-old man was shot and killed on a street around 4 p.m. yesterday.
Birmingham, Ala. -- A 22-year-old man was fatally shot around 2 a.m. Sunday after he was involved in an altercation that began inside a bar. Two men, ages 21 and 19, have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Forestville, Md. -- An 18-year-old high school student was fatally shot and a second person critically wounded at an apartment complex about 5:30 p.m. yesterday.
Hurtsboro, Ala. -- A 35-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were found fatally shot multiple times and slumped over in a car around midnight Monday. A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shootings.
Caldwell, Idaho -- A 34-year-old man shot during an argument with his wife, as reported here on February 13, died on Saturday at a hospital.
Brooklyn, N.Y. -- A man was found on a street fatally shot in the head about 6:15 a.m. today.
Opa-Locka, Fla. -- One man is dead and another in critical condition after a shooting outside a restaurant about 8 p.m. yesterday. The gunman fled on foot.
Indianapolis, Ind. -- A 29-year-old woman was found fatally shot outside a home about 4:45 a.m. yesterday. Police were at the same home on Monday after a female caller said her ex-husband had been hit in the head by her current boyfriend during a fight between the two men.
Callaway, Fla. -- An 18-year-old woman was shot in the forehead about 9:15 a.m. yesterday after a 3-year-old boy found a .38-caliber handgun between the mattresses of his parents' bed and accidentally discharged the weapon. Police found the woman, a family friend, bleeding heavily from an exit wound at the top of her head. No word on her condition.
St. Petersburg, Fla. -- A 46-year-old man walking his dog with his wife was shot in the leg by a disgruntled driver of a pick-up truck when the animal got off its leash and ran into the road, forcing the truck to stop.
Detroit, Mich. -- About 8 p.m. yesterday, a 21-year-old man trying to break up a fight between adults outside a house at a birthday party for a 5-year-old was wounded when one of those fighting -- a 22-year-old man -- pulled out a gun and shot him. The shooter fled. The victim was listed in temporary-serious condition.
Las Vegas, Nev. -- An FBI agent was shot about 3 p.m. yesterday while serving a warrant as part of a team that included members of the FBI and two local police departments. The suspect was also shot. The incident began as officers approached the subject and a chase ensued that included an exchange of gunfire. The agent's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. No word on the condition of the suspect.
Big Flats, Wis. -- Two police officers responding to a complaint of suspicious activity made contact with someone inside a house and shots were fired about 7:30 yesterday. One of the officers and a man were injured. No word on the medical condition of the officer or the man.
Oak Creek, Wis. -- A 24-year-old man accidentally shot his 21-year-old girlfriend in the buttocks with a 9-millimeter handgun on Valentine’s Day. He was arrested for a weapons violation. Her injuries were considered non life-threatening.
Overland Park, Kan. -- An man who was barricaded inside his own home shot himself about 2:45 p.m. yesterday. His injury was described as serious.
Seattle, Wash. -- A 21-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 19-year-old man suffered a grazing wound when someone fired several gunshots into a house about 2:10 a.m. today. Police believe a gunman walked up to the rear of the house and opened fired before fleeing.
Tampa, Fla. -- A 27-year-old man was fatally shot and two men, ages 42 and 27, were wounded outside a house about 9 p.m. yesterday. Police say several gunmen approached the three and fired at them before fleeing in a car.

DeKalb County, Ga. -- A woman in her 20s was found fatally shot, with her child nearby, in a driveway outside a house. Neighbors said they heard a single gunshot late Monday night. The child has been given to relatives.
Tustin, Calif. -- After allegedly shooting and killing one person, a man allegedly crashed his vehicle about 5:30 a.m. today and began a string of carjackings spread across several communities that ended with three more people shot dead, including the victim who turned a gun on himself. Two people were wounded. No report on their injuries.
Baltimore, Md. -- Police found two men, ages 26 and 27, and a 27-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a grocery store just before midnight last night. The 27-year-old man later died at a hospital. No word on the condition of the wounded victims. Police believe the three were standing at a bus stop when the shots were fired.

Hendersonville, Tenn. -- A 26-year-old woman shot by her husband last Wednesday as reported here on February 14 has died today from her injuries. Her 29-year-old husband has been charged with first-degree murder.
Orlando, Fla. -- A 17-year-old male and 24-year-old female were shot dead and a 22-year-old man was wounded as they walked to an apartment complex about 1:47 a.m. today. The wounded man’s injuries were considered non life-threatening.
Fairview, Alaska -- A 26-year-old man was found fatally shot about 1:20 a.m. yesterday. A resident of a nearby apartment said he heard gunshots and looked out a window to see three people running around the corner of the building.
Decatur, Ohio -- A 9-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the head with a handgun yesterday afternoon. The child was playing with the gun after getting it in his father’s bedroom and it discharged when a younger sister tried to take it away from him. The boy was listed in critical condition after a four-hour surgery.
Durham, S.C. -- A state trooper was shot four times by the driver of a vehicle he pulled over for not wearing seatbelt about 6 p.m. yesterday. The trooper was struck in the face, shoulder, and both hands. He was reported in fair and stable condition after surgery. The shooter fled but police now have a suspect in custody.
Charlotte, N.C. -- A person sitting in a car was shot yesterday. No other details were available.
Milwaukee, Wis. -- Two male store-employees, ages 41 and 22, were shot during a robbery about 7:15 p.m. yesterday. Two men fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The victim’s injuries were considered non life-threatening.

The student was arrested and charged as an adult with unlawful use of a weapon in a school zone.
St. Petersburg, Fla. -- An 18-year-old woman was injured about 9 p.m. yesterday when a bullet exploded inside her kitchen oven while she was preheating the appliance to make a snack. Police later determined that, unknown to the woman, a 25-year-old friend had put a magazine clip to his .46-caliber Glock handgun in the oven. Police had not yet learned why the clip was put in the oven. The gun was in a drawer. The woman was treated for superficial injuries at a local hospital.
Virginia Beach, Va. -- To show support for firearm rights, a pizza-shop owner now offers a 15 percent discount to anyone bringing along a gun or concealed handgun permit. Since the discount began, 80 percent of his customers have carried guns into the store; including one who brought in an AK-47.

Little Rock, Ark. -- A 37-year-old woman was found dead yesterday on the porch of a house from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. She was a nationally known country-music performer.
Fairdealing, Mo. -- When an argument led to his girlfriend wanting to move out of their home, a 23-year-old man shot and killed her father and stabbed her mother and brother who were helping the woman move out her belongings Saturday night. The 23-year-old then killed himself. No word on the condition of the mother and brother.
Jackson, Miss. -- A 80-year-old woman was found fatally shot in a shed behind her home Saturday afternoon. She suffered two gunshot wounds -- one in the head and one in the abdomen. The victim’s car was missing. A 17-year-old has been charged in her death.
Council Bluffs, Iowa -- A 42-year-old man shot and killed his 38-year-old girlfriend at her home before fatally shooting himself. The woman had three children between the ages of 12 and 18. The 18-year-old, a daughter, found the two around 10:15 a.m. yesterday. A neighbor said the woman had recently been trying to end her relationship with the man.

Memphis, Tenn. -- Two juveniles were arrested after a 16-year-old girl and a 21-year-old male nightclub security guard and were shot about 9:40 p.m. yesterday. Both victims were listed in non-critical condition.
Akron, Ohio -- A 22-year-old man was shot in the leg while in his apartment when he tried to stop two men from taking his cell phone about 8:30 p.m. yesterday.
Palm Coast, Fla. -- A 19-year-old man was shot in the face about 3 a.m. yesterday. Police say a birthday party with up to 100 guests was underway at a residence when several gunshots were heard outside. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.
San Diego, Calif. -- As police chased a speeding car about 12:30 a.m. today, someone inside the car tossed a loaded shotgun out a window. The gun discharged when it hit the ground, striking a nearby parked car. Police arrested the driver and her passenger.
Poway, Calif. -- After two men, ages 25 and 23, were involved in a fight at a pub around midnight on Saturday, they went and retrieved a handgun from a nearby apartment and returned to threaten those they had fought with earlier by pointing the gun at them and firing two shots in the air. Both men were arrested.

Rockwall, Tex. -- A 33-year-old woman was shot and killed and a 40-year-old man was wounded in the parking lot of a shopping center about 8 p.m. last night. After a police chase, a 47-year-old man -- the former boyfriend of the woman -- was arrested. The alleged shooter is a police officer and recently served as an elected constable. The wounded man was in stable condition.
Bridge City, La. -- An 81-year-old grandmother was found shot dead on the kitchen floor of her home about 11:55 p.m. Friday. Police found a trail of bullet casings that began on the street and continued on to the front door and then into the house. The victim was hit multiple times. Three other people inside the house -- her grandson, his girlfriend, and a 3-year-old girl -- were not injured. Police say she might not have been the intended target.
Cedar City, Utah -- Police responding to a home about 2 p.m. Friday found a man fatally shot and a woman wounded. A 54-year-old man considered a person of interest in the case is in custody.
Detroit, Mich. -- A 28-year-old man shot and killed his 66-year-old grandmother and 48-year-old aunt, and wounded his 7-year-old daughter at a home about 6:45 p.m. Friday. He fled the scene and then checked himself into a local hospital for psychiatric evaluation around 1:30 a.m. yesterday. The girl was released from the hospital yesterday.

Tampa, Fla. -- Police responding to a report of a fight about 9:30 p.m. Friday found an 18-year-old man shot dead and another 18-year-old man wounded. No word on the wounded victim’s condition.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 17-year-old male was fatally shot in the head and an 18-year-old male was wounded in the arm while sitting in a car about 6 p.m. yesterday. A vehicle pulled alongside their car and someone inside the vehicle opened fire on the teenagers. The condition of the 18-year-old was listed as stabilized.
Chicago, Ill. -- An 18-year-old woman was found lying on the ground and fatally shot in her upper body about 7 p.m. Police suspect she was struck by gunfire intended for someone else.
Chicago, Ill. -- An 18-year-old woman who was visiting friends and family was fatally shot in the head while on her way to a store in Friday.
Altadena, Calif. -- The body of a 26-year-old man was discovered along a horse trail about 8 a.m. yesterday. He had been shot to death.
Orlando, Fla. -- About 3 a.m. today, police responding to reports of shots fired and injuries at a loud house party found one man dead and two men wounded. The two wounded victims suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Melbourne, Fla. -- A 40-year-old man was shot to death at a nightclub about 2:14 a.m. yesterday after he got into a fight with someone who pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Oakland, Calif. -- A man was found shot dead on a street about 5 p.m. yesterday. He had been hit multiple times.
Charlotte, N.C. -- A 24-year-old man was shot and killed about 12:30 p.m. today. No other information was available.
Philadelphia, Penn. -- Two 22-year-old men were shot and wounded on a street around 7:30 p.m. yesterday. One was reported in critical but stable condition; the other is in serious condition.
Philadelphia, Penn. -- A man about 40 years old was shot in the head while inside a vehicle around 6 p.m. Friday night. He was listed in critical condition.
Chicago, Ill. -- About 9 p.m. yesterday, a 16-year-old male standing on a street corner was shot twice in the shoulder when two males approached him and one of them fired shots from a handgun.
Denver, Colo. -- A 19-year-old man was shot and wounded as he walked with another man on a street about 9:30 p.m. yesterday. The incident began after the two men were confronted by a group of people and an argument ensued. Someone in the group took out a gun and shot the victim. He was listed in stable condition.
Oakland, Calif. -- A man was shot in the leg about 1:10 p.m. Friday during a robbery at his home.
Colorado Springs, Colo. -- About 3:50 a.m. today, police found an adult male shot on a street. His injuries were considered potentially life-threatening.
New Haven, Conn. -- Around 12:30 a.m. yesterday, a police officer found a male about 20 years old in the parking lot of a convenience store suffering from three gunshot wounds. The shooting might be connected to an earlier party at nearby motel. No word on the condition of the victim.
Matthews, N.C.-- Three employees and a delivery driver were at a closed seafood restaurant about 6 a.m. yesterday when two armed robbers came to the back door. The robbers shot and wounded one of the men during the incident. The victim’s injuries were consider non life-threatening.
Indianapolis, Ind. -- Police report someone was shot about 3 p.m. today. No other information is available.

Harper Woods, Mich. -- A 60-year-old man was found fatally shot in his home about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. His car was missing and apparently stolen.
Fort Smith, Ark. -- Early Thursday morning, a 25-year-old woman was shot and killed at her home by her 19-year-old nephew after an argument. The woman’s boyfriend and her two young children were in the home at the time of the shooting. The nephew, who was living on and off with the woman, fled the scene but was later arrested.
Columbus, Miss. -- A 23-year-old man was fatally shot at a Valentine’s Day party at a club early yesterday morning. Police are holding a 17-year-old male in connection with the shooting.
Detroit, Mich. -- A 35-year-old woman was fatally shot and a 12-year-old girl was wounded when several intruders entered a home yesterday morning. Five people, ranging in age from 6- to 35-years-old, were in the home at the time of the shooting. Police say robbery might have been the motive. The child was listed in temporary serious condition.
Milwaukee, Wis. -- A 23-year-old man was shot to death during a robbery inside a house around 3 p.m. yesterday. Police are looking for a suspect.
Oakland, Calif. -- A 31-year-old man at an unlicensed massage parlor was fatally shot during an apparent robbery after two men forced their way past a doorman about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Oak Creek, Wis. -- A 21-year-old woman was shot yesterday and a 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Her injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
Fort Washington, Md. -- An off-duty sheriff’s deputy arrived home Tuesday night to find his home broken into and at least two male intruders inside. During a confrontation, the deputy shot one of them, a 20-year-old, who ran outside and collapsed. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A 23-year-old was later arrested in connection with the break-in.
Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. -- An unarmed man in his 20s was shot and killed about 3:15 a.m. yesterday by one of two armed off-duty security guards who confronted him about loud music coming from his car in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The guards say the victim reached in the direction of one of guard’s guns, making the other guard fear for their safety, so he used his gun to shoot the man.
Memphis, Tenn. -- A man was fatally shot outside a gas station about 10:45 p.m. yesterday.
St. Louis, Mo. -- A 33-year-old man heard noises outside his home about 1:30 a.m. today and encountered two males, ages 15 and 17, attempting burglary. When the 15-year-old approached him, the homeowner shot and killed the teenager. The accomplice was arrested. Police say the shooting appears to be justified.
Norman, Okla. -- A 51-year-old man found inside a burning house Wednesday had died of a gunshot wound. The victim’s pickup truck is missing . Police are calling the death a homicide and think the fire was set to cover the killing.
Santa Cruz, Calif. -- A 21-year-old female college student waiting at a bus stop about 7:30 p.m. Monday was shot in the head and robbed of her backpack. She saw a car pass by her twice and then park before the incident. She is expected to fully recover.
Washington, D.C. -- A man shot on a street about 5 p.m. Wednesday suffered wounds that were serious but not considered life-threatening.
Searcy, Ark. -- A 24-year-old woman was found fatally shot at an apartment complex around 9:00 a.m. today. She had multiple gunshot wounds. Police are looking for a person of interest.
Clifton, Colo. -- A man attempting to commit suicide by shooting himself in the chest caused an injury to a woman in the house when she was stuck by the bullet after it exited the man’s back. No report on the condition of either victim.
Akron, Ohio -- A 21-year-old man helping a woman move from her apartment about 1 p.m. Wednesday was shot in the arm after the arrival of her boyfriend and a male friend led to a physical altercation. At some point during the incident, the friend pulled out a gun and shot the 21-year-old. The victim’s wounds were considered non life-threatening.
New Haven, Conn. -- Two men, ages 19 and 57, were wounded as patrons were leaving a club and a gunman outside opened fire around 12:45 a.m. today. The older man was there fixing a kitchen drain and happened to be standing outside smoking a cigarette during a work break when the gunfire erupted. Both victims are expected to survive.
Inkster, Mich. -- A security guard at a tax preparation business was shot in the leg during a robbery attempt by two armed intruders about 2:20 p.m. yesterday. The guard returned fire but did not hit either suspect. The victim is expected to recover.
Cleveland, Ohio -- A man was shot while at the bar of a gentleman’s club about 2:30 a.m. today. The victim was listed in stable condition.
Montgomery, Ala. -- Police say a person was shot in the leg today. The injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Cottage Grove, Ore. -- Two men were driving on a highway about 6 p.m. Wednesday when one of them fired a shotgun at another moving vehicle -- a pick-up truck -- striking a rear wheel. The two men and the driver of the pick-up truck had been involved in an earlier dispute at a residence. The assailants, ages 27 and 34, were arrested.
Newton, Mass. --A 21-year-old male motorist was cut off by another driver, so when they both pulled over at a nearby intersection, the man threatened the driver that cut him off -- also 21-years-old -- with a drawn gun. Police were called and arrested the armed driver. The gun was an unlicensed sawed-off .32 caliber revolver with five bullets in the magazine.
