I know I speak for many when I say these words: Dick Cheney Go Away!

Let us all be honest, here is a man who deserves to be imprisoned for war crimes after his part -- and it was a major part -- in the lies that led up to the Iraq war. Over 4,000 of our men and women in uniform died and tens of thousands of Iraqi citizen perished, because of that war.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow recently came out with a documentary titled: Hubris: the Selling of the Iraq War in which she shows how the Bush Administration purposely misled the American people and the world about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, which Saddam was no longer pursuing. Her investigation showed Dick Cheney as really the ringleader of the effort to misinform our Congress and the public, so that Congress would sign on to going to war in Iraq.

I have a lot to say to Dick Cheney:

First and last Dick, Go Away! You are unpopular at the very least and most significantly, you are a criminal that has helped cause the death of many innocent people. Yet you have the nerve to show yourself on talk shows and whatever TV station who will have you, so that you can criticize our current president, Barack Obama and his administration.

Barack Obama has more intelligence and wisdom in his pinky finger than you have in your whole body, and he certainly has a much higher moral character than you or any of those who support you, which are few.  He has also been much more successful than you were when it came to taking care of terrorist, especially Osama bin Laden.

You were a failure Dick, you could not even got elected as president if you had of ran; take a look at what your approval rating has been, even before you left office, that should speak volumes. Oh, I know, when those approval ratings don't suit you, then they just don't matter, but really it does because all you are is a politician; a conniving, deceitful, bitter little man, and I emphasize little because it takes a little man in heart and mind to do what you did to this country and its people.

As far as I am concerned Dick, you are no better than Osama bin Laden, the terrorist who caused 9/11. He was responsible for many innocent lives and so are you, along with President George W. Bush and the rest of the Bush administration who had a part in deceiving Congress, the American people and the world. You though, are at the top of the list.

It was a shame that President Obama, after coming into office, didn't allow Congress to pursue an investigation that was open to federal charges, as far as the Bush administration. Perhaps you would be in jail now where you belong instead of out in the public running your mouth, which is full of nothing but lies and deceit. Who with any intelligence would want to listen to such garbage from a man who led this country into its longest war and cost us so much in blood and treasure?

So let me say it again Dick, Go Away! You should thank God that you are now a free man, as it may not last forever. Have enough decency to go hide in a corner and never come out again. The next time I want to hear about you is in the obituary column or news that you had finally been charged with a crime. I doubt the latter but eventually you old codger, you'll kick the bucket and finally you will face the judgment you so well deserve.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
