Darth Issa: I have managed to put enough pressure on President Obama so he doesn't understand that Jedi mind belt is actually Jedi Mind Tricks.
Darth Vader: Obi-Wan taught him well but not well enough. He must join us.
Darth Issa: Or die.
(Issa comes into the video at the 01:20 point and then sobs like a baby at the 01:25 point)
Darrell "Darth" Issa has been being a little weird lately but nevertheless, his old partisan self as usual. No matter what an Issa is, an Issa does.
Here's Huffington Post reporting on Issa doing a documentation of coffee and sequestration at the same time (or perhaps Boozequestration):
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
DARRELL ISSA DOCUMENTS COFFEE, BOOZEQUESTRATION - Jen Bendery: "Sequestration will be a tough pill for everyone to swallow. But Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) spent Saturday trying to see the brighter side of things, losing himself in cappuccino foam art and redefining the billions in painful spending cuts as a drinking game, according to his Twitter feed. Two tweets sent Saturday from Issa's account -- and then promptly deleted -- include photos of 'a great cappuccino' and a sign that gives the proper definition of sequester: 'The need to drink.' It turns out it wasn't Issa unraveling in front of his 76,831 followers; it was his staff. 'The tweets were generated by staff and erroneously included on the @DarrellIssa feed,' said Issa spokesman Fred Hill."
Right Mr. Hill. It wasn't Darrell Issa unraveling in front of his followers, it was his staff. Good one. So his staff runs his Twitter account?
Nevertheless, it really doesn't matter whether the Tweets are deleted. You can still see them as they originally were written as well as the original Instagram images per the Instagram links below. I don't think deleting the Tweets will stop the bleeding.

And here's Darrell Issa at it again with his partisan antics:
"Raising taxes on the American people for a second time this year is not the solution to sequestration.”
http://www.govexec.com/...
The top House oversight chairman has plunged into the debate over sequestration by writing to 17 major agencies in search of specific programs or funding streams that could be cut as an alternative to current law’s across-the-board requirement.
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said in a letter dated March 1, “We cannot avert sequestration without a plan to end the undisciplined and unsustainable federal spending that resulted in the sequester in the first place. Raising taxes on the American people for a second time this year is not the solution to sequestration.”
Chiefs of all major departments, from Defense to State to Interior to Homeland Security, are asked to supply “a targeted list of programmatic spending reductions that would be more beneficial to the American people than across-the-board sequestration; and, a list of programs no longer necessary to meet the goals of the agency.”
Issa is seeking to put into action recommendations his committee has received from inspectors general. On Tuesday, he will hold a hearing on waste, focusing on the Transportation and Education departments.
Two pop quiz questions for Kossacks:
Question: In referring to proposed taxes being raised, is Issa:
a) Referring to his own taxes being taxed?
b) Referring to homeless, poor, lower income or middle class taxes being raised?
c) Referring to taxes being raised on the rich?
d) Just spewing typical GOP talking points?
Question: When Darrell Issa wants to stop spending by cutting inefficient programs, is he:
a) Really concerned about increasing efficiency in the federal government?
b) Making sure he and the GOP get power?
c) Working on solving the deficit problems?
d) Trying to cover his rear end from his "conservative" votes to make it seem he was really doing checks & balances in Congress in the Iraq War years?
And of course we can always depend on Darrell Issa with his great Tweets:
Keystone XL Pipeline - DOA, unless you look at the following Fox News data that states support for the project has increased by 70% (which of course is totally B.S.):
http://www.washingtonpost.com/...
A new Fox News poll shows support for the project has reached a new high, with 70 percent supporting its construction and 23 percent opposing it. That 70 percent support figure is up from 67 percent a year ago. Other polls at the time showed slightly lower levels of support, though still huge majorities in favor.
The increase appears to be due to a rise in support among Democrats, who now support it with a clear majority — 57 percent.
Now here's Mr. Issa doing another great Tweet, trying to pander to his small business base, which is of course a "conservative" business base:
And Mr. Issa appears to think President Obama is to blame for the budget delays. We know that's just not true.
Maybe Henry Waxman can help us along the way tell Darrell Issa to cool it:
Some people also don't realize that in the 2012 election last November, Democratic challenger to Darrell Issa, Jerry Tetalman, got a considerable number of votes noting that the district's Republican voter registration far outweighs the number of Democrats:
http://www.sos.ca.gov/...
Per Ballotpedia, Jerry Tetalman in the months of April 2012 - May 2012 had less than $20,000 on hand versus Darrell Issa's $1 million + at that same period yet he managed to get 41% of the votes in the final election.
Note Tetalman's final vote rally is around the percentage as Rob Zerban's final vote rally when he ran against Paul Ryan in Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District but Zerban had $682,000+ on hand during that same April - May 2012 period and got more national attention.

If you want to get involved in the efforts to hold Darrell Issa's feet to the fire and target him for re-election, I suggest you contact the San Diego County Democratic Party and join forces.
Former Democratic candidate Francine Busby, who ran against Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham and Brian Bilbray twice, is now chairwoman of the San Diego County Democratic Party:
