DK Quilt Guild: A place for quilters to gather, share ideas, projects, and to make the world a better place, one quilt at a time. Join us and share your thoughts, projects, questions, and tips. Quilters here are at many different levels of skill. Beginners and non-quilters are welcome, too!
The quilting and binding are done, let the auction begin!

First, I want to give a shout out to Melanie for doing a great job in putting the quilt together. I've contacted her and let her know how much I appreciate how easy it was to quilt the quilt because it was put together so well.

The quilt was more "masculine" because of the colors, but I added some "feminine" aspects like the swirls because we just don't know who will be getting the quilt! Below I've posted pictures of each quilted block. I figured that's what ya'll would like to see without a whole lot of chatting on my part. Ask questions and I'll answer in comments.

I need to know the names of all who participated so I can put them on the label. If folks feel it would be better to just say "Pieced and Quilted by the Dkos Quilt Guild 2013" I'm super ok with that because this isn't a donation quilt. Feedback welcome. If we go with all the names, I was thinking of doing 'em like this:

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
