I don't know who did this, but I'm putting my confidence in it being someone from here.
Y'all have heard me whine and complain about the Nikon camera I bought when my beloved Canon bit the dust at MedFair last year while working at WaterPaws.
One of you must have taken it to heart, because this morning, with no note or anything, a new Canon PowerShot showed up in the mail addressed to me and Itzl.
I love it! It snaps quickly and in focus! I even took pictures of distant birds and you can tell they are birds, not blurry black dots!
This will help me document this year's Water Paws, and Itzl's birthday (Monday he'll be 9 years old).
Whoever you are, you just made my diaries prettier, and I will take more pictures of Itzl and Xoco than I have been doing this past year.
Here's the first picture I took with it:
And look - he's in focus as he prances off to do his business:
And of course, the inevitable potty shot:
And mockingbird - in focus!
Thank you! I will take many, many pictures at MedFair.
I have passed the old Nikon on to my daughter. She thinks it will work better for her than it did for me, and she doesn't take pictures of prancy little dogs like I do.
