I have to admit, I really am entertained by the History Channel these days, although I wish there were more history than is being shown on television.
My favorites:
American Pickers
American Restoration
And Pawn Stars
Actually, I've been a fan of the Pawn Stars until now when Rick Harrison appeared Mark Levin's show and on Fox News and had a... well.... frustration with the U.S. government and Obamacare:
And of course, who else besides Steve Doocy from Fox News to have Rick Harrison on?
Yes, Steve Doocy. I miss Keith Olberman's impressions of him on MSNBC:
So anyway, I never new Rick Harrison to be a scholar or a highly educated person nor do I care. However, it seems now apparent that Rick Harrison is really just living in a bubble and either just doesn't understand government or how bills are written.
Seriously, how many times have we heard these criticisms of Obamacare or the Affordable Healthcare Act?
Like, Rick, it's called reading. I've read quite a bit of the Affordable Health Care Act myself and it makes sense. All you need to do is READ. Yes, that's right, READ. You don't need a college degree to read, do you?
Wait, did Rick just say you need a college degree to read the Affordable Health Care Act? Oh RIGHT. A college degree is SOOOO hard for Rick Harrison to achieve. My goodness, as if getting a BA in Sociology is going to be so much pain for him if he ever bothered to get a degree.
Ahhh, here's this per Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/...
In 1967 Harrison's father was transferred to San Diego, California, and the family relocated with him. As a child, Harrison suffered from epileptic seizures starting at age eight, which would confine him to bed, and lead to a lifelong love of reading. He became particularly enamored of a series of books by John D. Fitzgerald called The Great Brain, whose main character, a ten-year-old Utah con artist named Tom D. Fitzgerald with an ability to conjure money-making schemes, greatly influenced Harrison.[8] Harrison also developed a love of books in general, in particular on physics[1] and history, with his favorite area of historical study being the British Navy, from the late 1700s to the early 1800s.[9] Harrison attended Taft Middle School, which is part of the San Diego Unified School District, but dropped out during tenth grade.
Ok, I don't criticize Rick Harrison for dropping out of school. Johnny Depp dropped out of high school and has gone to being a very popular actor (not to mention one that has made superb acting choices in his career).
But associating himself with Fox News makes me wonder if Rick Harrison really secretly wants to have Pawn Stars on the channel instead of the History Channel and inject himself with more of the Fox News mumbo jumbo.
Oh but of course. He goes on Fox News of all channels, criticizes Obamacare and other things the idiots on Fox News do all the time and.
You know, having Pawn Stars on Fox News sounds just fine to me. What about you?
Maybe we could start by giving Rick Harrison and his Pawn shop in Las Vegas some feedback:
