Former President Bill Clinton talked in this video almost the same way President Barack Obama talks today about guns. I saw and listened to Bill Clinton talk in this video in 1963 and never does he mentions the NRA during his speech on guns and all the killings in his watch.
I have very little, if ever said or written any of the gun issues argued here almost daily. I thought that if this video has not been put up in a diary previously, perhaps you can find something to say about whether things have changed from 1963 on gun control. Or if you think things will change with the ongoing congressional hearings on gun control.
I post this for those who know these things and those who engage in writings about guns and the killings of those children while at school at Sandy Hook elementary and the continuing massacres of people by guns supporters of the NRA.
I think that if you listen to Bill Clinton on this video you will come away with the same impression I have -- it sounds exactly as what President Obama is saying today, except that Bill Clinton was not what Republicans and the NRA accuse Obama of being today. But the results from then and today are still the same.
