Yesterday and last night were drenching wet, seasoned with huge mofo t-storms. For relief, we had 45-60 mph gusts, followed by the pitter patter of golf ball sized hail.
All of the evening, the puppies barked and yelled, trying to chase the storms away. No luck.
Now? The 11th warning, each different, but strikingly similar, about upcoming weather. A huge, nasty, t-storm advances, with the weather service insisting that people take shelter. Unless you are flooding out.
I suspect power will be out sometime today, so i may not give any updates. stay inside, folks.
And keep dry.
And keep safe.
I live in the SW corner of cook county, Illinois. North of us, the storms have been far, far, worse. My backyard doubles for a swimming pool. But at least it is not DilBit pouring through my lawn.
