It's true.
Some call me a "solutions facilitator." Others, a "professional irritant."
And that's how I described myself as
I tossed my hat into the ring of competitors vying for Netroots Nation scholarships.
There are a lot of worthy competitors. All who I've seen, and voted for, are worthy. I'm sure there are others who haven't applied yet who are just as worthy.
It's not too late. If you want to go, and can arrange transportation & time away but can't afford the place to stay or the ticket to NN13, try for a scholarship. Or if you can cover most costs or logistics but not actual attendance, inquire to see if you can work out some sort of volunteer arrangement.
We are stronger when we work together, and whoever gains admittance through hook, crook or scholarship will undoubtedly relish the opportunity.
I've tossed my feathered hat into the ring, as well as tossed in an application for an opportunity to work more directly for dKos. Take a look at both links - take a look at the NN13 Scholarship page as well as the Chris Bowers diary as a whole.
There's a lot of good people vying for your attention and for opportunities. Are you someone who should be a part of one or both efforts?
Remember, the netroots is strengthened by every voice, every keystroke and every person who cares and can make the time to participate - whether by voting, or commenting, or liking or recommending or sharing or ranting...
Please take a moment to check out NN13 Scholarships, and if you see anyone you want to vote for or help alert others to the presence of, post a link to them (doesn't have to be just one!) in the comments below.
Thank you.
There is nothing else below the fold, save comments.
