So I am incredibly disturbed that the rich got taken care of in the sequestration. The most important thing is that the rich should not have to wait. I think historically this was a mistake by the oligarchy. I have the sense this is a real "Let them eat cake" moment. But there is something that is eating away at me. What exactly is the FAA going to cut to make up for what they were going to save on furloughs? From what I can tell there is no new revenue stream. Is the FAA sitting on some pile of unspent money. I was under the impression that human hours made up about 70% of their budget. That means that a really big chunk is going to be taken out of the other 30%. I really, really want to know what is in that other 30%. Is it updating infrastructure. I really, really don't want my kid falling out of the sky in ten years so David Gregory doesn't have to wait for a flight today. Maybe I am missing something. But the thing nobody is talking about it how the FAA is going to make up this money. I think we have a right to know.
