Received this e-mail today from business man Jim Graves (D) who is running in a rematch against Tea Party loon Michele Bachmann (R. MN-6):
Democrat Jim Graves, accompanied by his wife Julie Graves, right, announces he will campaign against Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann for Minnesota's Sixth Congressional District seat Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Le St-Germain Suite Hotel in St. Cloud, Minn.

The Tea Party Caucus is “back in action” with “a new strategy and a growing membership,” according to national reports.

Who do we have to thank? You guessed it: Michele Bachmann.

With Rep. Bachmann at the helm, the Tea Party Caucus will solidify their obstructionist power in Washington. Unless we stop her. We lost the last election by just one point – one point! Rep. Bachmann is vulnerable, her war chest depleted.

Now is the time. We can win. But I need your help right now. We need to raise $30,000 by our critical April 30 deadline – before she revives the Tea Party Caucus.

Click here to give $5 or more – whatever you can afford – to defeat Rep. Bachmann and stop the Tea Party Caucus from gaining power:

We’re not the only ones who know Rep. Bachmann is vulnerable. She knows it. She’s so worried that she’s already spending precious campaign cash on the kind of misleading attack ads we’ve seen so many times before.

We can defeat her. But we need to respond, which we can’t do unless we hit our goals.

Help us defeat Rep. Bachmann by donating before our April 30 deadline:

Your support means so much to me and my family. Thanks for all that you do.

There are countless reasons why Bachmann needs to be kicked out of Congress.  But this ad she launched against Graves last time still pisses me off so much that I want Graves to defeat her next year:

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
