The family of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect killed in a shootout with police can’t find a place to bury him, even as his body is being prepared for just that purpose. [...] For his part, the uncle said that Cambridge, Mass., was Tsarnaev’s home, not the southern Russian republics of his roots. “He lived in America, he grew up here,” Tsarni said. “Any contemplations that his body should be taken to his home country, they cannot believe. His home country was indeed Cambridge, Massachusetts.”

Apparently the joke is on anyone who gave time or treasure to National Organization for Marriage in Rhode Island, the group that has spent the past five years trying to block passage of Rhode Island’s new marriage equality law. Here’s what NOM-RI’s executive director Chris Plante told New York Times after Gov. Lincoln Chafee signed the bill into law on Thursday evening: I don’t see momentum for redefining marriage. Rhode Island is not that big a deal. It’s a deep blue state and one of the least religious in the union, despite its high Catholic population. Besides being a slap in the face to NOM-RI’s supporters (the word ‘chump’ comes to mind), it is an especially astonishing comment considering that Rhode Island is the only state in which NOM established a regional office.

Hey, remember that fun video (above) of Geraldo Rivera laying down a righteous hissy over the LIES and PRIMROSE PATHS paved by his buddies, the Fox & Friends? It was from two days before the election, and Geraldo was in his finest mettle, like, waving a baby at a Katrina bridge INSANITY. He was yelling about Benghazi, and how Fox News was a LIAR (without ever saying the name Fox News) and on and on. It was fun! Hey Mikey, we liked it! But do you know who didn’t like it? Fox News chief Roger Ailes, who reportedly called down to the control room to cut Gerry’s mic like he was a hapless Bill O’Reilly guest. Uh oh!
