It goes like this: A high school student in Kansas was unhappy with the performance of his school's football team, so online he equated them with a college that doesn't have a football team. Mild criticism, har-har, also known as "gentle ribbing" to anyone who is not a fucking psychopath. But it so incensed some members of the football team that they took to threatening him. The response of the school administration to these threats was to suspend him for inciting the threats made against him and creating an unsafe school environment. Folks, the Midwest really needs to get its education sports culture under control - you exist so that underprivileged kids can get an education, you are not the main show. Your silly little games where you throw around balls and stuff are not why the schools are there - you are there to serve the school. You don't get to suspend people who criticize your athletics, especially when it's true. Join the 21st century.
