In 2009, North Korea amended its Constitution, officially renouncing Communism by implication as its new Constitution removes all reference to it.

The North Koreans produced video about America below, presumably for distribution to its citizens.  It claims the US citizens live on the street, have eaten all the birds, and drink coffee made from snow.  And we have lots of guns.

In short, the North Korean leadership bears remarkable similarity to how Republicans view America under ObamaCare.  The video is below.  Somewhat humorous.

A friend of mine visited North Korea and had some interesting tales.  One:  he brought a bottle of Johnnie Walker Scotch.   A North Korean man argued with him about how great all the North Korean products were and how their liquor was the best in the world.  So my friend explained he just happened to have some Scotch and invited the man to have a drink.  The man drank and his eyes closed and a look of euphoria came over his face.  "That is the best liquor I have ever had," the North Korean said.  Not paid for by Johnnie Walker.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You're just offering a YouTube link, I see.

While you technically can write a diary a single letter in length, a synopsis and/or your thoughts, in addition to a direct embed of the video, would be swell.

    •  But I will assume, without having watched (0+ / 0-)

the video, that the North Koreans are honorary members of our country's Republican party. Not surprising.

Thanks for the comment.  I thought the video mainly self explanatory and of interest as a a North Korean propaganda piece.   May as well add a bit more.

It is an interesting concept. The diary title obviously pulled me in.

You should expand on it, was all I was suggesting.
