Received this e-mail today from Congressman Bruce Braley's (D. IA) campaign who is running to fill the seat of retiring Senator Tom Harkin (D. IA):
U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley waves to the crowd before speaking at  a grassroots campaign event for President Barack Obama at the RiverLoop Amphitheater Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012  in Waterloo.(Brian Ray/The Gazette-KCRG)..
Governor Terry Branstad put it best: we need an Iowa problem solver to replace Tom Harkin in the US Senate.

And there is no more accomplished Iowa problem solver than Bruce Braley. For six years, Bruce has been getting things done for Iowa every day. From creating a program to train Iowa workers for jobs in renewable energy to fixing government regulations that put Marshalltown manufacturing at risk, Bruce doesn’t stop working for Iowa. And he’ll be even more effective in the Senate.

That's why today we're launching a new site,

This page will help to highlight Bruce’s tremendous record of accomplishment for the people he represents.

And we need your help to spread the word.

Take a minute to visit and be sure to share it with your friends. You can also join the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #IAProblemSolver.

With your help, we'll make sure that everyone knows who the problem solver in this race is.

Thanks for all you do,

Jeff Link

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
