It has been a while since I last posted.
I recently had a nasal septoplasty to remove my rapidly worsening deviated nasal septum earlier this week.
The surgery went very well and I am so glad I did it. I really needed it badly. I did not want it bothering me at all once medical school began. It was increasingly discomforting to fall asleep and breath through the nose.
It was bumpy and annoying at times with the nasal packing. But recovery has been quick overall and ideal. No surgery is 100% a cakewalk, even in the best set of conditions.
I got it removed yesterday and the steepest curves are over. I no longer have that discomfort. I will be perfectly good to go for Netroots Nation.
I am excited to go with full comfort and see everyone. I look forward to meeting physicians like Howard Dean.
